Hello video makers! I assume you are reading this because you want to master WMM2 and post videos on glowsticking.com quickly and easily with a proffesional flair. Well, you've found the right link.



First, Download the free program from here. http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/downloads/updates/moviemaker2.mspx

Now Let's Start Learning!



Editing Basics:
WWM2 is Ideal for easy/simple editing.

IMPORTING:
First get your footage to the computer.

>file
>import into collections
>yourmoviefile

(this can also be accessed from the movie tasks sidebar)


you can also import music and title screens.

CUTTING:

Storyboard mode vs. Timeline Mode
>Drag your video clip thumbnail to the timeline
>Highlight video (make sure its white not grey)
>Cut by pressing this image underneath the preview screen



TRANSITIONS:
The most preferable transtion on gs.c for videos is the fade, here's how to do it with the most accuracy.

>Highlight one cut clip
>Click and Hold the clip till it turns halfway blue
>Drag into the fade

EDITING LIGHTING:
Sometimes you can't help filming a littler darker than you wanted, but this can be fixed in WMM2.
>Right click on scenes that are too dark
>Video Effects
>Second to top effect is "Brightness increase"

Do this once or twice and see the dramatic difference in the lighting.

SAVING:
This is how you can decrease the size of your video and pick a quality suitable for you.
The Less kpbs per second the worse the quality.

>File
>Save Movie file...
>My Computer
>Pick where you want to save it...

HINT: If you go to
>File
>Properties

You can Change the Author and Add information....

There you go, some basic tips and tricks that will help you master WMM2 and make your videos flow more like an actual clip in the media center.
