Hey what’s up my name is Dier or Steven. I live in West Jordan and I’ve been on GS.C for awhile now. But there has been a rise in people from Utah coming here to Glowsticking.com so this thread might be more active this time. I’ll keep it updated with flyers that I get and parties I hear about. Let’s not start a thousand threads asking about each party, since the amount of people from Utah is pretty small we can probably keep it just in this topic. So in the mean time fill this out about yourselves. Dance Style (Freehand, Strings, Wave, Tut, Liquid Ect…): Freehand, strings, a little bit of tuting and liquiding
Time Span of Dancing: Close to two yeras for strings, and roughly a year0ish for freehand, and dancing a few months
Goals: Get a job, so I can get a car, so I can go places lol.
Other: We need to spread GS.C to more Utah people, so that we can be put on the map like Cali and newyork lol.

I'm severely Bi Polar and have spent most of my life being suicidally depressed. One moment, I was looking to buy some form of cyanide over the internet, and the next, I happened to spot a freehander at a club who inspired me to start glowsticking like a madman. String dance is a passion now... I practice for hours on end almost every day of the week. Don't underestimate the power of pretty, flashing lights! (Heh... yeah, I'm a nerd.) Also... When I describe a move as "aerial" I am talking about what we used to call the move set of poi in glowstringing. Why? Because the word poi is what's used for the art of poi, and is mixed up every freaking day when people are referring to either the move set called poi in glowstringing or are referring to the art itself. If you're glowstringing I call it aerial, if not then I don't care what they're called.  |
