Hey, so I'm at college now, and needless to say, I'm a little cramped. I have three possibilities for practicing: 1) Stay up way late 'till 5 AM and practice in the dorm's lobby. 2) Go out to the large turf field and practice (other people will be there). 3) Wait for my room mate to leave and practice in my way cramped room. I'm posting this in culture, because I know (or remember...) there being rules about exposure... ...I really want to practice on the field, but I don't know how you guys feel about that. I'd be using dead sticks, so I wouldn't draw a LOT of attention....

I think you can glowstick wherever you want, so go ahead and do it on the field if you want. =]

Yeah string where ever man, or where your judgment allows. Just dont promote anything that would make GS.C look bad. If your worried about people staring dont use cracked sticks or anything and stay to the sidelines.

As Brian said, practice wherever you want. Or, I'd say, practice wherever you feel comfortable. I'm sure there's plenty of places on campus to do stuff.

I don't usually use sticks outside unless it's in my own yard or at an outdoor party.
For more public practicing i usually go with sock poi.

I dont really bring my sticks outside my backyard other than a meetup or rave, but you can find me working on my poi in the park, or an open area. I usually just put my headphones on and tune out. theres been times where I get people stopping and watching, but Im so focused onto my moves that I tune out the rest (IMG: http://www.glowsticking.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/sm_biggrin.gif) I say go for the feild.
