What's a good program I can use to make techno music? Like any kind of techno, and a program you can be really creative with and make some good songs? And the cost (IMG:http://www.glowsticking.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

sorry Techno is a form of EDM and i doubt tahts really wat you want.
2 your lookin for production programs not DJ

DJ would be like VDJ, Traktor shit like that

if your lookin for actyally making your lookin for production
so stuff like

FL Studio
Cubase
Reason

if your new
DO NOT get Cubase or Reason you wont have a clue what your doing.
and two you can use torrents and get them for free

Yeah, it sounds like you want some production stuff. DJing is more like mixing and stuff. Look at FL studio. Good plce to start. For mixing go with Traktor and Virtual DJ. I have used them both and they are great

actually i started producting with reason... without any experience, knowledge, or skill. hey but i did it. but its been 2.5 years and i still learn stuff but now i can produce a decent track... kinda.

if you like to mess around and then figure stuff out on your own then you might want to go ahead and get a better program like cubase or reason if you think you'll stick with the production stuff. plus theres always tutorials i later discovered on youtube and stuff to help you with some stuff. plus some mags like electronic musician has articles for reason sometimes. i learned some fancy tricks from there

but just start and get some basic idea of it all from FL demo or something. before you go out buying expensive stuff if you find you don't like it or whatever.

that is true.
but then again i would say try gettin it like pirated first to see if your reallyt sure about taht

caus elike with cubase that program is roughly 800
so thats a heavy price tag if your not serious.

but i still say go with FL cause its a very easy program to pick up with and i doubt hes really gonna be using midi so it doesnt matter to have cubase or reason.
