Hey, the last meetup was a blast but I was a little disappointed that many people had complications and couldn't come so I wanted to get another one together before the summer is over to usher in the new school year and give a big bon voyage`. So, I am thinking that we could so something the first week of August or some time around there. When does everyone have to go back to school? I know that we had some of your South Carolina members that wanted to come but couldn't make it. So I would really like to get everyone that can to come.


Let me know what your schedule is. We got plenty of time to edit this around.

Directions:
I-85 South
Get off at the Old Peachtree exit. Take a right onto Old Peachtree (If you are coming on I-85 North this will be a left) take another right at the Home Depot onto Satalite Blvd. If you see a McDonald's and a QT then you turned the wrong way. Turn around.

Anyways, take a left at the first light. Go down that will you hit a round about and the park is on your left.

Once you are in the park follow the main road all the way to the back. Over the tunnel, past the B-Ball court and park near the playground. THere will be a bunch or baseball fields

Update: Meeting at Discover Mills off of Sugarloaf parkway at 4pm to get a bite to eat and to hang out. Then after that we are heading to the park to have some real fun.

did you guys run into complications with the rent-a-cops last time you were at the mall?

Na, no trouble. We started under some stairs but then moved to the back corner of the parking deck by JC Penny's where we could put music through my car speakers instead of the small ones on my laptop.

Anyways, give this one some thought. I would like make it a big one since it is kind of the last one of the summer

Well honestly I am not sure what is going with me that day but as of right now I will say yes. I will put that on my calender so I will remember. Since I am finished with school I don have to worry about going back to school haha. I am supposed to have a Tae Kwon Do tourny about that time but I don't know the date of it yet.

i am going to try and convince my parents to let me go to the meetup.

Bandit, it is a while off so it is cool. We can adjust the place and date at this point because of how far out the event is.

personally it would be better for me to do the meetup at a park instead of the MOG..
why?

my parents are being picky and do not think its a good idea and want to stay at one place the whole time..
so if we did it at the MOG they would not want to go out to any ones car to listen to music or under any stairs..

im sure we could do this at the MOG but we would have to stay at the stage if you guys wanted me to stay there.

Thats cool. I will monitor this thread to keep up on plans. About how many showed up yesterday? Has anyone thought about maybe doing the meet up at Discovery Mills mall. Its like 15 minutes away from MoG. Just a thought and something I wanted to toss out.

haha.. discovery mills is a lot longer than 15 minutes.. it can take about 2 hours depending on traffic (2 hours is longest time its taken me to get there)

Wow when I go up to atlanta i can hit MoG and Discovery Mills in the same day it has never taken me that long. i can usually make it in 15-20 minutes. of course i'm not from Atlanta and perhaps i just got lucky too.
