Has anyone else experienced the 11:11 phenomenon? I have experienced it frequently for several years. Looking at the clock at that time, logging into IRC/returning from AFK, a reciept for 11.11, and a few other things. I read up on it and many diffrent things were said. One theory uses AlphaNumbers and suggest that our "universe" is but one part of a "multiverse" comprised of 20,736 dimensions. This goes further thinking that the multiverse is a result of binary computer code. In this theory, the number 9 is fundamental to the structual nature of the multiverse. This was proved using AlphaNumbers. Using AlphaNumbers I can say NINE is equal to 42 (14+9+14+5 = 42). QUOTE The most common way people see the 11:11 is on digital clocks. Is it a phenomenon of the digital age?
THE DIGITAL AGE = 108 = TWILIGHT = EARTHLIGHT
THE DIGITAL AGE OF THE ASCENSION = 261 = THE MULTIVERSE IS LIGHT
TWO SIX ONE = 144
ASCENSION = 99 = EARTH TIME = THOUGHT = THE GOD MIND
ASCENSION CODE = 126 = FORTY FIVE = FIFTY FOUR = SPEED OF LIGHT = NINE IS LIGHT
ONE TWO SIX = 144 = NINE IS THE KEY = MULTIVERSE So if nine is the key = Multiverse and nine is equal to 42 then the answer to life the universe and everything else being 42... and seeing that mice are hyper deminsional pan demensional beings. then... lol dunno where i was going with that Back to the subject though... That was David Ickes Multiverse and 11:11 theory. Another theory can be found here. Going with the flow of wacked out theories I came up with this.. 2011/11/11 (maybe not the 11th though) is the official begning of the end. 2012/12/12 being the end. Yeah, that's all I've got. I got distracted part way through writing this and lost my flow of thought. Has anyone else had any 11:11 or similiar phenomenons happen to them? What do you think of this?

Or it's just psychology. Do you really make note of it when you look at the clock and it's 6:34? Probably not. But if you look at the clock and see OMG IT'S 11:11, then you think it's some crazy coincidence/conspiracy. I forget the psychological principle, but it's probably just all in your head =P
It's kinda like how I see 69 all the time.

I never have experienced the 11.11 phenom but your conclusion sounds very interesting. I can't remember who said it, i believe it was Terence Mckenna or carl calleman, talking about the last section of the cycle will be somewhere in november in the year 2011(can't remember the exact date they had, but they have a date aswell) Of course, Mckenna uses a mathematical analysis of the I ching, and Calleman uses the mayan calendar as the reference, still coming up with relatively close dates. So, I love the subject you brought up man. So, heres my thoughts on it. I believe the world will be broken down into complete number system, possibly even able to solve the complex functions of the universal issues like gravity and other set laws. Since the computer uses binary code to communicate, perhaps this leads to a break in virtual reality. Somehow using computers to produce vivid imaginations similar to the ones presented today, but you will be able to choose your set and setting. awesome post man. sorry if I get alil off topic, I tend to trail. I do make mental notes of a lot of things like this, 11:11 is just one I'm bringing up. I agree though, it could possibly be something psychological, maybe a subconscience internal clock or something. Maybe the first times were coincidence and then I began to actually look for it on a subconscience level. Who knows?

The first time I actually took notice of an 11:11, really, was this morning.
However, I'm fond of 12:34s, and 1:23s, and 4:56s. Go figure.

it's really all part of the "meaningful coincidence" phenomenon. by noticing "11.11", "23", or any other number/event/ object multiple times our brain connects dots that are most likely not there. simply because we can impart a meaningful relationship between the various events does not mean there is in fact a connect anywhere other than our brains. in cryptology, there is a saying that sums up this phenomenon pretty well; "if you look hard enough, you'll find it, whether or not it was actually there in the first place is an other story".
