Ever since i went to Together as One rave and watched Madraverrai videos i was inspired to glowstick. Now its been a few months and have improved much over the time so i decided to finally film myself for others to view and hear their critiscism. Heres the video http://youtube.com/watch?v=_e2Oj-FA_P8

i purposely made it dark so all u can see is the glowsticks. I honestly think it looks cooler that way. Anyways ive been sticking for a few months after the rave together as one and waching madraverrai videos. Here it is http://youtube.com/watch?v=_e2Oj-FA_P8 enjoy! Tell me what i can do to improve my freehand (IMG:http://www.glowsticking.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) (IMG:http://www.glowsticking.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) (IMG:http://www.glowsticking.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) (IMG:http://www.glowsticking.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

I think you put the vid in the wrong section since it's a freehanding vid (IMG:http://www.glowsticking.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)
it belongs with the freehanding video forums...
but yeah, the vid looks solid, I would add more lighting next time (IMG:http://www.glowsticking.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

lol, you didn't need to create a new thread since it's already here: http://www.glowsticking.com/forums/Glowsti...612#entry199612 (IMG:http://www.glowsticking.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

but yeah I think the two threads should be merged and move it here: http://www.glowsticking.com/forums/Freehan...rials-f106.html

While I agree light shows are better in the dark, you'll get a lot more critique if your video is better lit.

That being said, looks like you have a really solid array of moves and your execution is pretty damned good. Saw what I think are some nice toss combos (again, lighting would help me give better advice here) and some really fluid traces, helicopters and good transitions.

I'd say work on expanding your traces a little more. You're really fluid with them but you revert back to the same ones repeatedly.

I didn't see any threading or tutting, so you might consider incorporating those moves if they're something that interest you. It would add some variety.

It didn't seem you moved around a whole lot, again better lighting would help, but it didn't seem to me like you were moving your feet or body much at all.

You have a solid grasp on the things you know and you do them well. You could stand to clean everything up and expand on your current moves to change it up a bit. Bigger variety in traces and toss combos, more stalls, expand on your current moves perhaps and add more body movement.

Oh, and eliminate those floor stalls. (IMG:http://www.glowsticking.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)
