I am sure that all of us have seen the compilation videos showing off the dancing talent of out members, but how many have been made to show off our DJing music talent. Here is what I propose. Take a single track and have one DJ mix it , chop it skew it, remix it, doesn't matter but then passes it to the next person who then takes that track and pick the mix up from there with the same song so we end up with a long remix showing of everyone DJ talent. Of course this is just one way to do it. Tell me what you think.

we'll we've done similar things before. Like not just a remix track but like FULL DJ SETS.

and Madraverrai

both do things with DJ collabs.

But what i think your looking for is producers. We don't have so many on this site as far as I know.

I wanted to it to have some consistency so that is why I suggested everyone remix a single song and then put them all together. It would be one long track instead of people doing a bunch of sets. I think that if all of us did our own sets it would end up being a really long collaboration. I wasn't really thinking so much collberative DJing. When I think of that I think 2 or more DJ's at once. What I have in mind is more individual but still unified in a way.

I'm working on a track w/ Lira, perhaps we can incorporate it, or everyone make a track, and then have dj's or a dj mix it all togther. We can have a GSC mix cd.... and then have members glowstick/string to it... mmm sounds like a plan....Yeah I've given it some thought.

Dell, haha yeah, it kind of does.

Ess, that's cool and I think that is where the beauty of it is. Make the song however you want. What I have been thinking is listen to some songs and at the end it has a breakdown sometimes into simpler rhythms and bass lines and repeats. This is to make it easier on the DJ as he mixes in the next track. So I would say do your remix and then leave it open ended. The other DJ can take his variation and mix it in with yours and then he leaves it open ended and so on and so on. Get the idea? What song though?

While I'm not a mixer (resident vocalist hereabouts), I totally support the idea. The thing is, I'm not sure I'd like to listen to one megamix of one song remixed multiple different ways. It would have the potential to get old pretty quickly. If you had everyone mix a different song open-endedly, pass it on, and have the next DJ transition into their own song, that could work rather nicely, I think. One massive GSC set.
