WHAT: South Florida Local Summer Meet Up
DATE: Sunday August 10, 2008 4:00PM until ???????????
LOCATION: At the beach in the area of 163st and Collins Ave. in North Miami Beach. We will be meeting at Samson's Oceanfront Park the end of 174th and Collins. The nearest 'public' parking facility I found was at 163rd and Collins, which is a parking garage.
Looking at the map, right near 163 and Collins is a bunch of tennis courts and a pool which is actually the top of the garage...
If you want to park closer, there's a parking lot at 170th St behind a shopping center. Head down 163St to the end, turn left and head North. Go to 170th St and turn left. Park behind the shopping center.
I would think parking in that lot should be fine and its a much closer walk than the garage. I may park in the garage anyway, just to avoid the risk of being towed. It's a lot closer than you think looking at the map.

We're talking about doing something that isn't at an event where we can chill, stick and possibly learn a few things from each other. It's kinda hard to do that at a party.
But if a group of us will be at Heaven it'd be cool to get together and ripit sikkkkk anyway.
I just read in the other thread that Lira will be home visiting from New York from August 9 thru August 14 and I think it'd be cool if we could make that weekend work. How would Sunday August 10 work for everyone?

Well Norman is out of town the weekend of July 18th and I refuse to have this without him, otherwise I'd shoot for that weekend. He deserves to come to a meet up that someone else organized for a change where he can just show up and have fun without having to worry about anything.
