QUOTE (Flowtoys) CRYSTAL POI NOW AVAILABLE!: We designed these soft covers for glowstickers, "stringers" and spinners who enjoy fast and light-weight poi. They provide padding for body wraps and protect the flowlights from hard impacts, while diffusing the light and making it appear brighter. Facets in the crystal line up with the button to enable you to feel it in the dark. Plus you can activate and change the modes of your flowlights without having to take them out of the crystals. Just came out yesterday, I ordered a pair. Comments and thoughts on these? I'll give a bit of feedback once I get them. Hoestly, they look pretty good to me though. From the picture, it no longer looks like an oddly-shaped dildo. That's gotta be a plus.

They look pretty neat. I want some. But, I just spent about 80 bucks on other poi equipment (which I'm quite happy with), so I'm probably gonna hold off for a while. If only they had come out two weeks ago....

Crystal poi?(IMG: http://i30.photobucket.com/albums/c325/syphonkiller/crystal-poi_400x600.jpg) Details: The crystal cases provide padding for body wraps and protect the flowlight from hard impacts, while diffusing the light and making it appear brighter. Facets in the crystal line up with the button to enable you to feel the button in the dark. Plus you can activate and change the modes of your flowlights without having to take them out of the crystals.

I'm curious though whether the crystal tubing will change the trails at all.. IMO, that's one of the unique parts of a flowlight - the different modes it has with the different trails it makes. It'd be cool if they had a demo video or something.

It's a clear tubbing, i would think that the light will spread out to fit the tubbing. Other than that Idk really, doesn't seem like the design of the tube will have any effect to the light trail.

lol... they can act as a weapon with the pointed ends... From the design, they look too thick... I don't think I'll be messing with the flowtoys anytime soon... but yeah, it'll still be good to hear a review in case I reconsider, someday...
