"It's always good to learn a bit more about other urban dance styles. Confused? Read our article. Discuss Popping, Locking, Hip-hop, House-dancing, bboying, and any other non-glow dances." Now add jittin to the list!!! Jit is the original Techno footwork. Hardcore 313 crew in the D know how to explain best. http://youtube.com/watch?v=Mf0AsckXYUMThis vid will get you started!

I always thought Jitting was a product of the Ghetto Tech community.
But whatever, looks like fun not something I'd do, but fun.

I watched it last night, didn't really know how to feel, so i watched it again this morning and searched some other videos. It looks like people who played DDR way to much and decided to make it into a real dane style. Along with adding some freestyle moves. I really don't understand how Jittin can be its own dance style when it involves leg seizures and Choreographed dance styles mixed with a tad of bboying. I could see if they did some brand spanking new moves that were mind blowing, but only thing i seem to have seen is the seizure.
Call me a hater or w/e but its just my opinion haha. I love seeing different styles of dance from shuffling to jumping to tutting. But when your having leg spasms and trying to shuffle your way around, it looks pretty disturbing. Hip Hop (though not a favorite of mine) and B-Boying at least have technical moves and has a clean look to the dance. Hell even stomping at times can look slick and clean. I would find it very hard to make Jitting look more like its own style, as well as not look like your seizing up haha.
And zerizum what your thinking about is Slip Jig, yes some people seem to integratea more urban Slip Jig with this style, but i still find it hard to classify as a separate dance style. Hell if thats the case someone should make a seperate style of Tutting and Shuffling. You would still be a shuffler, and you would also be a tutter. Maybe if someone who does jit can explain it, i'm very open to discussion. But if its just other dances mixed together, meh.

Awesome footwurk, tho I've seen better on Youtube.com.
It seems to have the same vibe as techtonik, which is a style that I admire. I can't wait to see this evolve more. Great body movement for stringers and stickers alike.
