America's largest free dance music festival is almost here. For those of you that are not aware, the San Francisco LoveFest is actually 2 seperate events. The FREE day parade that kicks off at noon with no age limits, no rules and has over 65,000 happy ravers partying in the streets until dusk, and the official LoveFest afterparty thrown directly across the street in Bill Graham which has consecutively had almost 10,000 in attendance. Most GSC'ers tend to show up in the later half of the day to catch the festival in the streets, but come mainly for the Afterparty. If you have the time and the ability I strongly suggest attending as much of the parade as you can, seeing as it is what makes our largest annual party in northern california so unique. The Afterparty starts at 9 PM in the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium directly behind the Skills & Spundae float on the festival grounds, and it lasts until 4 AM. If you can't afford tickets for the afterparty or can not attend because of age or whatever reason, DON'T forget that the day parade is FREE and open to everyone of all ages.
