wasnt sure where to put this question but here it goes

i bought 2 LED glowsticks(the white 6 function kind) just a few days ago, they're really nice except one of them seems to turn off at the slightest tap. the other stays on through anything. anyone know what mthe problem might be or how to remedy it?? thanks!

Sounds like a loose connection of the internal parts. I think i know which LED stick you are talking about, and unfortunately they are not all built to high standards. The ones i have do the same thing.

i think i had the same ones, they broke in like...a day =[ too vigorous in my swinging i suppose =\
i found some LEDs at wal mart the other day. cant remember what exactly they are, but they're pretty durable. i broke the plastic part and plugged em in into the bottom of some empty chem sticks.
Check out the sporting goods section near the camping stuff....i think they are called GloLights or somethin

Unless your LED stick is homemade, it's probably not very durable. I suggest making your own.

I bought 2 LED glowsticks from walmart, very durable.
They're made by Slyvania...The package says DOT-it LED Glowsticks.

They resemble a chemical glowstick (u know, snap and shake) but the plastic is about 1/4 inch thick!! And the LEDs are quite bright!!
I brought them to 'Heaven' here in Hollywood a few weeks ago.
They're MUCH heavier than regular glowsticks, but heck, they're durable...not good for stalls or tosses....but I like 'em.

You can find them in the hardware dept. by the lightbulbs, along a wall full of DOT-IT lights (the dot-its look like hockey pucks) and have white LEDs in them.
I'll post a pic soon....gotta get ready to go clubbing.

See, you've changed things...forever.
There's no going back...No...
See to them, you're just a freak...like me.
Their 'morals'...their 'code'...It's all just a bad joke.
Even to a guy like me...

The white six-function ones-- with fade, strobe, more strobes, then red, green, & blue, right? I can't do much more than poi with them and very gentle wrapping. Definitely no orbitals. There's not much that can be done, I'm afraid.

Dude i used to have this problem I just open it.. put a small piece tape inside the back of the photon and then put it back together. this puts pressure on the battery and decreases the movement of the battery which usually switches it off.

dont remove the batteries when doing this

Inovas are good but are a bit bulky. Their battery life isn't really that great either.
