It's fine to celebrate success but it is more important to heed the lessons of failure.

“There are no failures - just experiences and your reactions to them.”

When Edison was asked about the hundreds attempts at making the light bulb that did not succeed he simply said "Not a single one was a failure, I just found 99 ways of how not to make a light bulb".

Heres my idea. In a lot of videos I watch they are beautifully edited but here is my idea. Make a video of the worst knotted strings, the hardest face hits, and the most epic drops, failed tosses, and messup that have ever been caught on film. Then compile them into one big video. I have seen the success of the "Bump this everytime you wack your self and I have been in stiches at some of the things I have read. Now lets show it off. Maybe this can be a liberating experience where we might actually learn from watching each others failures as well as success.

If you want to participate, just send me the link to the video via PM or send me an AIM message. If you have messed up bad and caught it on video let me get it. Lets have fun with this one... *hits himself in the head with a metal poi* OUCH!!!

This is going to be funny as hell.

How epic do you got? (IMG:http://www.glowsticking.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/biggrin2.gif)

I am talking face shots, nutshot, awesome combos that end in failure. Whatever you got.

Like here is one that is running through my mind. Someone tosses a stick in the air does some awesome combos with the other one and goes to catch the other but it lands 10 feet behind them. Dumb stuff like that. Or a stringer does soem combo and WHAK! takes two to the face then one in the ear. lol Be creative

Let me know if you want anything from the NJ meetup compilation bloopers section (viewable in the video downloadable from the media center)-- there's a couple of very, very epic drops & tangles there. (IMG:http://www.glowsticking.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

Lol redline, the ending part w/ rai was pretty funny.

I guess I'll have to start shooting my whole practice sessions from now on...
