The first time I heard the opening guitar strumming and the whispered "closer..." I was already hooked.

I'm really surprised, actually, 'cause there are a couple of good dancepop and hip-hop songs on the radio that I like. and it's not often that I get this fond of mainstream artists, but Ne-Yo tends to put out good stuff.

I very much have to agree with you on all of this. I can't help but want to dance when I listen to this song.

But I noticed how he has a much nicer voice than some of the other male singers, or should I say a bit more of a range. I think he is one of the few artists that I really listen to alot.

I watched the music video last night, and when I saw the words flash across the screen, I thought at first it was some other Ne-Yo video with some random guy putting words on the screen.

Seriously thought his lips weren't going to the music for a while hahah until the words finally stopped coming on.

EXACTLY. The beat that kicks in at the beginning before he sings-- that's what got me hooked. Same goes for any other mainstream dancepop or hip-hop song...it's all in the beat.

I listened to the stonebridge for a bit, and I definently can say I like the original more. Heheh.

Damn, I must be the only one who doesn't like this song. Everyone I know is always singing this song, and I can't stand it. I can't stand Ne-yo, all of his stuff is just rehashing of his other tracks. That's hip-hop/r&b for ya, in my opinion anyways.

At first I didnt like this song but after a while listening to it, I really enjoy it and got into it a bit. And i just listened to the Stonebridge remix and I like it a lot. Gotta DL it now =]

Don't get me wrong, I don't like him as an artist that much. The song is appealing though. That it became a radio banger was annoying.
