Heyy
Im from the London area.
Ive just started stringing, you will find that the night-life and rave factor over here varies from worse - even worse to even even worse. :L
Im also afraid to say, the origin of glow-stringing over here is extinct as it is.
You get the odd meeting, but nothing to be excited.
Anyway, hope you enjoy yourself around here.

glowsticking is dead over in UK pretty much

poi and oldschool dancing is in a big way

also prepare for different music hardcore and gabber rule the roost over here trace isnt quite as big (IMG:http://www.glowsticking.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

ah man, but you guys have Godskitchen and so many huge trance producers....Gareth Emery, Simon Patterson, Greg Downey, and more...some of my best friends in the amateur/semi-pro trance world are UKers! but it's true, sticking isn't big over there. Pretty decent poi/fire arts community though.

have a safe trip, Ben, enjoy your time over there (IMG:http://www.glowsticking.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

hey ben, i live in a neighbouring country, but it's not so expensive to come over for a day or weekend.

for as far as i know drum and bass has a massive scene in london, so if your down with that it's a nice place to go to.

good luck, (IMG:http://www.glowsticking.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)
