so i found this video online that shows you how to change the color of the inova.

very straight foward tut. i changed acouple of my blue inovas to pink ones. now all i need is a place to buy hellla bright led bulbs. that'll be dope.

so i checked out those sites and i saw these tricolored ones. they have four leads though. how would i put a bulb in an inova if it has more than one lead?

I've been dabbling in LED stuff recently, and i don't think the tricolor led's, (multi lead and regular 2 lead chipped ones) would play well with inovas. The multi lead ones certainly wont work, and the standard chipped ones might work on high power mode, but not on strobe mode. The tricolors will however work with those shitty plastic photon-ish things, like the ones they sell on this site http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.12383

if i put a multi lead bulb in one of those microlights that you mentioned above, wouldnt it display all the colors at the same time. so if the bulb was a tri-colored one, it would turn on all three colors? i always wondered what controls the modes of the inova lights. is it a chip that controls the pattern the light makes?
