Im just getting into DJing. at the moment Im using my buddy Phil's set, but he says as soon as he upgrades his set, the turn tables and mixer are mine =D

at the moment its 2 Stanton STR-8 100 and a Numark DXM09 Digital mixer

I have to say, I have fallen in love with the set =)
Ill post a picture later.

lol yea u love them now but when u try out techniques, vestax or numark's ttx's u will hate those stantons

How does one get into the field of DJing with setups like that? I have always thought about djing, but never had any idea of how or where to start. maybe not as a career or anything but more as an outlet.

I think this counts as production equipment...
Probably by next year I'll have enough for a decent set of decks... right now I have to help pay off some bills.

This is my dad's studio, its a bit messy... so I didnt take a full room picture, heh... maybe when its neater. My dad's a composer/producer. He had his own record label type thing but he was mostly only exclusive to the Vietnamese community... He stopped producing around a year ago because business over the past 10-15 years has basically gone down the drain. I'm going to steal his equipment though =D It's just sitting there after all....
