Hello all! I just started stringing about a week ago. I've learned the weave, butterfly, and some wraps and pretty much got those down. I'm learning the spiral and want to learn the orbital. Any help is appreciated! I wanna say one thing about this site. I've been on a lot of forums and just about every single one of them has always said "If you have questions DON'T PM ME, I AM TOO BUSY!" That doesn't happen here and I love that! I even read someones post and they said "even if you want to chat, pm me!" I love that, especially when they are ranked fairly high in GS.C. I like this place, and I hope to stay quite awhile! Thanks guys! (and gals!) jthtiger

ohh, and orbital help too. make sure that your sticks are rotating in split time. cross them at about 1/4 to 1/3 the length of the string away from your hand. just after they cross, pull your hands in opposite directions. takes some practice, but it shouldn't be too hard

Thanks everyone for the replies! My school has just started a glowstringing club and we have our first meeting today. should be fun!

i just joined too im decently new to stringing been going for about a month
moves i know are
butterfly
3beat weave
spirals
different wraps
traces
low windmills
thread the needle
my room is small so i cant do the moves that require going over my head =[
but its a start
