Around the end of summer I started to really get into Kanye west. Not sure why. But tracks like American Boy, Sky High, Love Lockdown, are all really awesome. I downloaded Kanye Wests' mixtape and Late registration. I also plan on getting his new album coming out in december. Anyone else really into Kanye?

I like Kanye West. It's like he's a "post-gangsta-rap" artist. Late Registration was ok compared to College Dropout and Graduation. An album/compliment sandwich?

Always been a Kanye Fan. Of his music...not him hahah. Did you hear that he thought he should be rewritten into the bible? He's the definition of confidence hahah.
He got arrested before he put out his new song though...

He isn't getting a felony so he's out and about already.
I love Kanye though...not as much as Timbaland though! Good beats from both but one is just a gawd when it comes to hits!

Arguably Kanye West is a kick in the pants for rap and neo rap music and Hip Hop, he's hella cocky but you can't deny that he's good at what he does. I mostly love his tracks with other artists, John Legend is my favorite collabo with him. Also, I don't like his blatant stealing of music and using it for his use....well....in hip hop they call that sampling. LOL. Is it just me or should you change it up a little if you sample music? Maybe it's just me. His stuff is good, worth the listen. Also check out Lupe Fiasco, T.I, Mos Def. (IMG: http://www.glowsticking.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Digging the new track with T-Pain even though I think T-Pain should be shot.
He's trying something different, he's making strides. I can at least give him that.

So, finally listened to the entire album...can't say I love it...but it's not bad. The songs definitely can grow on me after a couple of listens. Like I said earlier, I admire that he's trying different things, different types of beats, experiementing with his sound and style.
Good stuff.

How are you even going to say that? The song was a collaborative work, you make it sound like Kanye bribed them to take their song.

Kanye is in like top 20 of top sellers.. So why wouldn't Daft Punk do a song with them? And ok fine. Kanye and Daft Punk raped a good techno song, even though it was one of theres. Happy? I don't really care who did it a good techno song was still raped.

I listened to 808's and Heartbreak recently. I was somewhat disappointed by how Kanye West attempted to sing through a voice synthesizer instead of just rap like he did in the first three albums he put out.
Favorite songs were Welcome to Heartbreak and Heartless.
