Okay guys and gals...the last meet up was a success, so lets see if we can plan something far enough in advance to get a larger turn out and maybe a few more members! As for the last time...I feel that everyone walked away from the last one having learned something, so thank you for everything you guys worked on. I do have some pics and vids, but sadly I'm trying to work with them and the lighting is just horrible. Having the lights turned out make it very difficult to see, so we have to keep that in mind (duh) for the next time. I've kept contact with some of you after the meet up and tried to hook people up to do some more meetings at events and stuff so please try and keep in contact. If we plan this far enough in advance we can also have some ultras and highs shipped to a nearby location for the meet up! UPDATES HAVE BEEN MADE! I WILL UPDATE THIS AS MORE DETAILS BECOME AVAILABLE. Well you know I am all for a carpool, but we can start another thread about people from this part of the region having an interest in going to NYC for the Super Spring Break meet up. Just remind me when we get closer to the date, bc we live so close to each other that I don't see a prob with miminally the two of us heading in that direction together.

Super spring break meetup sounds great, BUT!
I missed the last OH meetup, so I'm all down for the next.
When: I think we're gonna have a pretty hectic winter this year, we're due. My vote goes to spring, with warmer weather.
Where: SANDUSKY BABY! Cedar point meetup lol. In all seriousness, anywhere is fine. I'm from the burgh, so driving is driving, doesn't matter where. Chances are it won't be anywhere too close for me.
Suggestions: Find prices for a dance hall, and see if people wanna chip in some dough for it. You could open up a paypal account and just let people donate, etc etc. Music shouldn't be a problem. A decent set of PC speakers would get by, or, like said before, I have a good friend that can DJ for us. Maybe have everyone bring a mix CD, and maybe some cool lights.

Hmm Sandusky is actually an interesting point...my mother and I belong to a time share program and our home resort is in Port Clinton, so maybe we could do the glowsticking at the resort one night and enjoy Cedar Point the next. I can talk to my mom about this possibility because that sounds kind of fun!

I'd certainly be down for another meetup...although this winter is already looking nuts...maybe spring is a good idea. I'm down to carpool with anyone whenever, so long as I have enough notice to get off work and stuff. Last time was nuts. I let Firefly crash on my bed when we got to my place, and I tried sleeping on the couch. The new puppy kept me up, I got /maybe/ an hour of sleep. Then I knocked on doors for like 3 hours, then work, then a halloween party. LOL. I take my partying seriously. Man I was tired on Sunday though.

*Cough* BUMPER CARS *Cough* So...Spring is right around the corner... I know that a lot of the people that came out last time would love to do another meet up, and I've been thinking really hard about time frames and locations. So, here is what I came up with... Time Frame: Lets aim for mid May. A lot of you guys are in school so this gives you time to get home before worrying about a meet up. Locations: I am actually a fan of both a glowsticking meet up and just a meet up of friends. So, we have to choose one or the other (I guess we don't have to choose and we can do a full weekend again LoL). If you guys would all just like to get together and maybe hang out at a theme park or have a party/bbq or go to a sporting event we totally can, or we can just have another meet up on glowsticking. My friend JUST bought a dance studio in the Cleveland area, so keep that open as an option. Other than that, lets hear some ideas! So, I loved meeting all of you guys and it was kind of fun to hang out with like two different groups for a full weekend! Lets get this worked out a bit more and maybe we can convince some of those New Yorkers to come chill for a day! Do you have a time frame? I know Niko said that he was looking into DEMF at the end of May, so holding off til June may be advantageous...what about finals and stuff like that?

Glowstick meet up at the dance place gets my vote.
Im going to try to go to DEMF but i would be down for a meet up anytime.
Shit the weather isnt to bad if there enough people in CLE i would drive up to kick it.
And if you need ANY help with anything just let me know, I will do all i can to help the situation!

Ummm I wanted to avoid March just because it would seem rushed (like last time (IMG: http://www.glowsticking.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) ), and I was hoping for a bit warmer weather... Sp4ded I am in CLE and shockfever is in Kent so we tend to communicate about travelling to raves and stuff often so keep in touch (send me a pm and I will get you my info). From what I can gather I think May in the dance studio is our goal? June is too late for some and May should be warm enough and late enough to be doable. Lets try and get more members in this thread! I want to make sure that everyone can come again and we have a great turn out again! Start contacting people!

Okay, so what do I gotta do to get you people on the guns? I want to get some votes on dates, places, numbers of attendees, etc.
We have two months to get something together and in those two months we have Super Spring Break Meetup 2009 and a few events that I am promoting/working with DJ's to get going around OH...so yea this can't all fall on me. Anyone want to grab the reigns and help ride this one out?
