I'm not sure if it's a well known genre or not, but I was wondering if anyone else here liked it. It's my favorite. :3

Been listening to J-core for the better part of five years now. Still listen to some Sharpnel every once in a while.

I still don't see why everyone has to emphasize that it's Japanese just call it what it is speedcore.
This is just a pet peeve of mine, region shouldn't matter on the name. Rock is rock it doesn't change just because j-rock is japanese does that mean we should call spanish rock s-rock, no of course not.....it just angers me inside.
btw...all for the m1dy now that's true speedcore 960 bmp of pure mind blowing action. Shrapnel and Alice are a bit slower but I still like 'em

i agree with the last post. speedcore is a more accurate and more used name, not all speedcore dj's come from japan. and who said this music style started in japan?????
and if anyone likes the speed and the chaos, try searching for breakcore you'll love it

Ohjeez. Didn't mean to start a mini debate here (IMG: http://www.glowsticking.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/X.gif) It's just that. . .japanese hardcore artists are really the only hardcore artists I know of, that's why I started this topic with the genre name J-core. You can discuss other hardcore artists here if you like, I'd like to get familiar with some in regions other than Japan. Sorry guys. :< @Lunaickk: Yeah, I can hardly find any of this stuff for download. You can search a lot of the bands on myspace and listen to their music there, though. This page is associated with a lot of really good Japanese hardcore artists [ link ]

BTW I have been looking everywhere to find a torrent of Hardcore tano*c and/or REDALiCE if anyone knows about it.....do tell lol. Most the of the Japanese artists are virtually impossible to find on most English sites. It took me easily two or so weeks to find a complete discography (on English sites). But like everything else on the internet you just need to look hard enough.

But like everything else on the internet you just need to look hard enough. They are REALLY hard to find. In all of the time I spent looking around for it, I only found like, one or two songs by REDALiCE. Here's an alternative, though. If anyone plays Stepmania here, perhaps you've heard of the dance anarchy packages? Yeah, those packages have a ton of J-Core songs, with sound files included. BUT the music files are .ogg format, so you need a file converter. Glad to see that this thread has an actual discussion now. :3
