I don't know the -official- way to describe this but wiki has it's own way... I think of Nintendocore as alot of chirp mixed with nintendo sounds ect ect it's also somewhat associated in the background music of the hardcore (rock) scene, but can be made into song by itself~ so tell me what you think of it~ it is music? would you consider it apart of the techno community? leave comments express opinions (IMG: http://www.glowsticking.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/smilewinkgrin.gif) p.s. here's a link to an example~~ Henry Homesweet

there is a drum and bass song that COMPLETELY excist out of street fighter samples. and it's mad cool.
i like most of these kind of ideas but it still has to be close to the rest of the scene and not all of them are rave material.

For crying out loud people, The name for the genre is Chiptunes. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chiptune

I love that song. I think it's in the genre of 8-bit music. Bit Shifter is a great 8-bit artist, in my opinion. If you guys like this stuff, listen to PWNTENDO by Venetian Snares. It's not 8-bit, but it's damn good. :D http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QGYCWGYJsTY

Old story has it that, as we go through life we really don’t change, we just become more of the same. You look around you as the years go by and it seems a very valid premise. People don’t change. As a matter of fact, most of us resist change very strongly. Yet change is a sure thing, the only variable is rate; slow we read as evolution, and fast as revolution. ಠ_ಠ (´・ω・)つ(・(・ (。◕‿◕。)The Sandbawks: Wasting time since ioh nein! |||(°ℇ °)||| Most recent vidya: Concentration Demo092010

awsome just plain and simply awsome.
--------------------
William Shakespeare Sonnet 40
Take all my loves, my love, yea, take them all; What hast thou then more than thou hadst before? No love, my love, that thou mayst true love call; All mine was thine before thou hadst this more. Then if for my love thou my love receivest, I cannot blame thee for my love thou usest; But yet be blamed, if thou thyself deceivest By wilful taste of what thyself refusest. I do forgive thy robbery, gentle thief, Although thou steal thee all my poverty; And yet, love knows, it is a greater grief To bear love's wrong than hate's known injury. Lascivious grace, in whom all ill well shows, Kill me with spites; yet we must not be foes.

Hey Kate is another good one. Something about 8bit is that it just has to be real loud. Idk, its just better that way, haha (IMG: http://www.glowsticking.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)
