The fallowing below this video is from when this thread was first posted. Today 06/26/2009, Is when the video beneath was taken. I truly hope you enjoy it.
We have never put out an official video like many of our other friends on here have , My Video is with the green sticks. The video came out a bit darker then I wanted too, But hopefully you'll still at least be able to get a good idea of what I'm doing. As for Starlite, I am very proud of her to put her video out and thought her teaser was awesome! Please give us your feedback! Both of you are doing reaally good. I would suggest adding a bit more tracing and some tutting in there, because you guys seem to be going towards tosses the most. Aswell as you guys could maybe try and incorporate the lower body; i dont think i saw either of you go below waste line? I think starlight did for a moment. But other than those, that's all I can see. Oh, and I know the song was pretty fast, but maybe try slowing down a little bit in the one or two parts it did. crystals i like the boob trace haha that shit was fucking awesome. i can see you are a bit stutery in some parts but thats just flow, try to let the sticks take you instead of rushin to the next move. other than that shit looks so fucking great. Freaque, unfortunately, it's very hard to see what you're doing in your video. However, the last time I saw you, you had improved greatly, so I can only imagine that this video is better than when I saw you last.
Starlite, holy shit! I'm sooooooooooo impressed. You have improved so much, seriously. Did I see a tittie trace in there for a second? haha.
I'm very proud of both of you. Hopefully, we can all get together soon at some event, and tear it up.

ono Yeah man...I dont know why, but when I loaded it up to youtube...its darker...you can see abit better if you pull it up full screen. Here is another quick lil vid you can see abit better I did with Crystal in December.

Hey, i'm deciding to check in on these freehanding vid posts. I'm liking what is in this thread, but i'll drop some quick notes:
First off was the footage, I know you didn't intend for it to turn out so dark but it makes the video much harder (almost unbearable) to watch for someone who wasn't there, but overall it was still good. (although the lighting in starlites video was almost perfect for me, Freque you better work on it next time, lol)
Freque your freehanding is strong. Especially in your tosses. But you need to start working on hand positioning when catching the sticks. I can tell you will develop a really impressive toss-heavy style, but right now you're catching the sticks mid-way with your entire palm - it hides most of the light, ruining the illusion of continuous tosses; start by practicing catching sticks at their tips, then re-positioning your hands post catch.
And Starlite, it always makes me to see female freehanders, as i'm sure you are aware they are few and far between (well maybe not so few, but the ones the ACTUALLY freehand and release clips are of a non-existent variety), so i'm glad to see you are heading in the right direction, and from the progression in your clip I can tell you've been practicing for some time - keep it up.
Good job guys. I expect more from both of you in the future. Freehand is about due for a comeback.

I've been watching your vids for years..your practice vid with offspring playing is still one of my favorites ever. haha I've been told by ono and a few others that I need to try to catch the sticks on the tips...Its alot harder then I would've thought. Especially when I use the way I grip them to do a ramdon helli toss every now and then, but I know what your talking about and I agree...its something I'll try to work on.. Once again sorry about the darkness of the first video. I'm very proud of Starlites progress....Its great to actually see girls dropping vids on here. Personally I've seen her come a long way...Much kudo's to you babe.

freque, seriously i know your sick but i can't see any of it in the first video it's just way too dark. on the second clip NICE man your tosses have improved sooo much since the last time i saw you. the only thing i'd say is i hope you didn't cut out all the sick traces you used to do, because you had some really sweet moves. try to work those in with your tosses and you will be insane.
starlite WOW you've added so much to your style its amazing. keep that up!! again i'd like to see it a little brighter in the lighting department but i could see well enough.
you want some form of extra light besides sticks, unless of course you're using ultras, which are mini-suns so they pretty much cover all your lighting needs lol. always error on the side of too bright when making a video because it will always darken when you upload/encode it.

I get really stuck on this tossing thing now...lol...its almost addictive. I've recently been trying to incorporate it all together, but then I start tossing and dont want to stop. lol
