Would any of you find it acceptable to glowstick at a 4th of July fair?
I know this may cut into the "selling out the art" thing, but it's the 4th of July, everyone has glowsticks..
I am the only one in this whole city who glowsticks though..
I don't know whether I should or shouldn't crack sticks at the fair this year..

That seems a bit off and tacky for a J4 event, like a devil stick juggler at Octoberfest.

Assuming they allow fireworks then what about poi or doing something with sparklers? No really.

Answer me Meier, you worthless sow!"

I'd keep it at home.
I mean, you can always practice, but the fourth of July comes but once a year. :D

--------------------

Old story has it that, as we go through life we really don’t change, we just become more of the same. You look around you as the years go by and it seems a very valid premise. People don’t change. As a matter of fact, most of us resist change very strongly. Yet change is a sure thing, the only variable is rate; slow we read as evolution, and fast as revolution.

I think it is ok as long as you dont do it in a massive crowd filled with families and of course ignorant children. Maybe off to the side or a bit isolated. As in not obnoxious

I used to do it and I had a blast. I don't see any problem with it.

Be careful judging the situation though, it depends on what kind of people are around.

I think one thing you all should be asking the OP is why he wants to do it. That was, I think, the original debate about Sticking in public; that its like showing off or w.e. but yea thats just what I think, like demo said you can practice any time you want, 4-JUL comes once a year go out and celebrate it do fireworks or if thats illegal where you live (..meaning you dont have any =[ ) then go out and just chill with your friends or w.e. Otherwise it seems like your just trying to grab attention.

I am not doing it to grab attention, I love sticking and I would never do it for attention..
I just thought it would be appropriate to do something like that under the fireworks..So don't judge me and tell me that I'm doing it to look "cool" or whatever
