As soon as I seen the Stringing in Nature part I was so down. I fucking live in nature and glowstick in it every time I get a chance to. This has to be the most badass name for a collab that I have ever seen. Count me in.

I'm stoked we get the summer. I can film while working at summer camp in the mountains, so that'll be sweet. And I can learn some more stuff since it's only been 2 months.

(IMG: http://www.glowsticking.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) :D i think 45 seconds might be a bit short. maybe it's good to let it depend on the amount of submissions. because i know i can look at the views for more then 45 seconds. ofcourse with 20+ submissions you can't go to minutes but it might be nice to extend the submissions.

I'll try getting footages within the next 3-4 weeks...
also, I would suggest using mediafire, zippyshare, 4shared, or rapidspread (compiles of several hosting sites) to upload footages to send to Ellezdey-RetrO, since there is a grace period with megaupload.

I think i will leave it at 45 seconds each no matter how many people submit unless theres more than 30. if theres more than 30 submissions, i may bump clips down to 35 seconds (imo, way 2 short but large files suck to handle) or just split the project into a part1 and a part2 vid (45 second clips, 30 submissions, 60 seconds in a minute = >22.5 minute video for thirty 45 second clips). Glad to see that some people are really liking this idea and I def cant wait to see what u guys send me!!!!!! If anyone happens to bump into a perfect & miraculous-looking photo oppurtunity while in nature over summer, take a picture and send that to me as well so we can have a few aesthetically pleasing still-frame transitions.

I prefer around 20 to be honest. Im hexa about to submit to this though =].

When I describe a move as "aerial" I am talking about what we used to call the move set of poi in glowstringing. Why? Because the word poi is what's used for the art of poi, and is mixed up every freaking day when people are referring to either the move set called poi in glowstringing or are referring to the art itself. If you're glowstringing I call it aerial, if not then I don't care what they're called.  |
