I did this for Texas and I thought it would be worthwhile to do it for Florida as well.

If you're in Florida and you're active on GSC please respond to this thread and vote YES in the poll so we can have an semi-accurate tally of how many active GSCers we have in Florida at the moment. You guys had a pretty big number of active members and it seems like Florida GSC activity has been low lately.

Summer last year we had a lot of people turn out at a beach meetup in July. I think we had 23 people there.

Since then activity here has dropped significantly. I held practice sessions almost weekly between January and March leading up to Ultra Music Festival. The biggest turnout was 6 people.

There are a few members who check in from time to time, aren't super active but still love glowsticking. They just aren't the online types and have lots of other stuff going on so they don't end up visiting the forums much. They might not even make it in to respond for the poll, but they're still out there. There are a few who are super busy with school and I don't hear from much (Kevin, where are you!?!?!) and yet a few more who wrote this site off completely and still string but don't care to associate with gs.c. I still try to keep in touch with just about everyone down here, regardless.

I'm going to be back next week, for a week, from Saturday evening to Friday morning. I know Kevin's been busy with work & personal junk but he's not dead, I've talked to him. You guys might get some visitors later this summer, so that's a possibility. And like last year, I'll be back in August once more for a longer period of time.

I'm sad to see how activity has died, but life deals some twisted cards sometimes.

florida is the only place in the world that i can think of that has senior citizens and a shiz load of college kids getting drunk all in one pace

Florida does suck, but oh well... Most of the GSC culture lives in the west coast (california state the hardest), the other two runner up areas are new york city, follow by somewhere in texas.. i don't know why these areas are active compare to others? probably just the population within the cities.... but we have miami yet still dead!

I'm not a glowsticker by heart, however, I do enjoy the art, people, and culture within it therefore I'm always active and part of the gsc community =)

I did attend GLOW this past Saturday, and the turnout was so-so

I only saw 3 other GSC members there and that's all??
