International Sticking Collaboration(ISC) Are YOU a glowsticker (Freehander of Glowstringer)? Do YOU live outside of the United States? Than this is a collaboration from YOU, by YOU and for US all. Here is the deal, I wanted to get a collab together featuring only people from outside of the united states, because in most if not all collabs, we see only the same people who are mainly from the USA (there are a few exceptions, but they are rare). So this is intended as a sort of calling card from the international glowsticking community to the USA people, so that they can see us do our thing instead of us always enjoying theirs. So sorry if you were born outside of the US and moved there, this one won't feature you I'm afraid. submit by Juli 30th
I think this is more than enough time for everyone to get footage and submit it.
Release date: August 7th
RULES -Location, preferably somewhere local so that we can all see in what kind of environment you live. -Good lighting (not to dark or light) -sticks must be lit -No releasing of the footage before the collab is released or you will be deleted. -30 second clips minimum, 1 minute clips maximum -Both Freehanding and Glowstringing -No travelling to Canada/Mexico to shoot the footage (IMG:http://www.glowsticking.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) -If you happen to be US born, but live outside of the USA for a longer period (some months) due to school or work or something similar, you are allowed to submit.
How to submit: -If possible, send it to me by email (adress: isc_gsc@live.nl ) -Through Megaupload or anything similar, send me a pm with where to download it afterwards. -preferably no music in the vid (to cut down its size), just tell me which song you were listening to while sticking (or if you were not listening to something at all) -Tell me which city/village and country you live in, this will be incorporated as Frost Bite suggested
Roll Call you'll be added to submitting once I have your footage, if you say that you will submit or that you might submit, you'll be added to maybe (I'll add the names of all who replied in the other thread about this to maybe) . editor Tico

I hope so as well, but as with my first thread on this, the first people to respond are American people =) . Btw, do american people see it as an insult if they are called yanks (just curious)?

Prolly cuz it can also be kind of a derogatory term.

Btw, do american people see it as an insult if they are called yanks (just curious)? a yanky is usually someone from the north east (new england, new york area) so it doesnt really make much since if you use it to talk about some one from another part of the country. i dont, personally, see it as offensive, but if someone from the US saw it and didnt understand that it is an international to refer to an american then they may be confused.

Pretty much. Though, It doesn't really bother me all that much.
Wish you luck on the video. It's great to see some glowstickers in Europe, I'll have to make it through the Netherlands if I ever get the cash to travel Europe.
You know, Sensation White/Black, Thunderdome and Qlimax, of course. Some of the best Events in the world.
Shame tickets for Sensation Black are something like 70 Euro this year.

Shame tickets for Sensation Black are something like 70 Euro this year. I am afraid that I'll have to tell you that there will not be a sensation black in the Netherlands anymore (due to lack of interest). Sensation White tickets are something like 90 euro's (which is stupendisly expensive imo) I hope to see some of you in the Netherlands one day, if one of you comes, give me a heads up, and I'll see if we can arrange a meetup. I've got plans to come to the USA myself (as part of my education which starts next year) but more on that when I have more certainty. Cheers

Lack of interest? This is coming from the same group that did Thunderdome and Qlimax. And I know there's a huge market for Hardcore and Hardstyle.
Oh well. 90 Euro is crazy for tickets, ID&T's always done this though, from what I read.

Well, apparantely, there wasn't enough interest for Sensation Black, that is why sensation white is now a two day event. But I am not sure if Black is organized by the same group as Qlimax, Sensation is by ID&T and Qlimax is by Q-Dance

Depending on how old you were when you went to the US, you'll probably have been in a some collab's/vids (IMG: http://www.glowsticking.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) Same goes for people living in the US and traveling to Canada or Mexico to shoot the footage (IMG: http://www.glowsticking.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) Anyway, I didn't think of your scenario before now, thanks for the input (IMG: http://www.glowsticking.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) rules edited (IMG: http://www.glowsticking.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

All help is accepted (IMG: http://www.glowsticking.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) this is my first time at making a collab after all. That reminds me, is there anyone who is able to translate the how to submit part to Spanish and maybe an Asian language if we have a large number of Philipino people around here (and if that is needed at all). DreiHarteZero, do you by any chance know where I can find the GS.C logo and the sort of intro vids from GS.C?

I know Photon has all of them stashed somewhere, but I'd assume the media center has them in their deep recesses. let me go track them down if I can. EDIT: I think this has it: http://www.glowsticking.com/forums/Glowsti...loads-cat4.html

For translations: Just type up the 'how to submit' part in whatever language, go to http://translate.google.com/#, copy the part, and then paste it at google translate and select which language to translate it to. Hopefully that should help (IMG: http://www.glowsticking.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

This is such a good idea for a collab! Maybe you should include freehanders too though, you might get more people to turn out for this.
EDIT: Oh nevermind, I see you changed the title of the thread to sticking. You should edit your post and change it from Stringing to Sticking.
