SEPTEMBER 12 2009

Las Vegas Desert Session #2!

Let's make this one bigger than the last!!!

With meetups once a month, we're hoping to bring out more and more of you Vegas members every time.


The meetup went well at Desert Breeze Park, so unless you guys come up with any other suggestions I think we'll stick with that location.

Time: 6PM-? Let me know what you guys think. Should we start earlier?


As usual, the following rules WILL apply:
No Drugs!
No Alcohol!
No Banned Members!
No Drama!
No Fire Poi!
No Illegal Activities Not Mentioned Above!
Any violations will result in suspension and/or possibly banishment.

wooo! Monthly meet ups! I think this is a fantastic idea; it also will allow a chance for the out of towners to come and visit and meet people without a last minute meet up being organized.

When I describe a move as "aerial" I am talking about what we used to call the move set of poi in glowstringing.

Why? Because the word poi is what's used for the art of poi, and is mixed up every freaking day when people are referring to either the move set called poi in glowstringing or are referring to the art itself.

If you're glowstringing I call it aerial, if not then I don't care what they're called.

Updated roll call with the people I spoke to in person last night. =D

With that said, does anyone have a preferred time of start? If not, I think 6 PM would provide ample time to practice with dead sticks then film with live sticks as the darkness falls.

This will also provide time for those of you who work around 11 PM. =P
