nice vid well a couple things your crossers- you dont really need to tuck in that arm under your pit. you can just rest it above your other arm another thing try to expand those moves you do incorporate some combos - leg wraps, arm wraps, traces, stalls, utl, btb aswell it seems like your scared or uncomftorable loosen up and have fun with it if you get hit just keep goingg also throughout yur vid you repeated many moves next time editing try to cut out repeats all criticism i got besides that great vid keep it up =]

Criticism: I agree with Tivy, this video has a lot of nice stuff, but it could have all been condensed to a minute or 2, with all repeats thrown aside. Liked: Your poi looks really clean, i don't spend much time on poi... but i can tell you do, but that just leaves more room to expand on wraps =D (IMG: http://www.glowsticking.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/fro.gif)

grats on making a year, here's to many more~ (IMG: http://www.glowsticking.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/smilewinkgrin.gif) anywais on to the critique... your style looks very move oriented. like, you do this then this then this then this. it doesn't flow very readily, and especially when you repeat a move 2-3 times before switching. the vid was also a little on the long side which is probably a side effect of repeating each move 2-3 times over. try and cut down your vids to maybe 3min or so. aside from that it looks mostly good, you've got a strong foundation to build off of, i cant wait to see what you do in the future (IMG: http://www.glowsticking.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/D.gif)

Good foundation but too long. QUOTE your style looks very move oriented. like, you do this then this then this then this. it doesn't flow very readily, and especially when you repeat a move 2-3 times before switching. Agreed. You are more going through the motions than truly performing but all of that will come in time. Poi is clean but you can certainly grow. (as we all can) Keep at it.

thanks guys! yeah, i realized that i made this way too long while i was editing it; so the next thing i'll be working on is making combos, and flowing between tricks/combos so i won't be repeating so much. my crossers are like that i think because i tried learning straight jacket, and that's what i got so far... i'll have to clean that up. as far as relaxing and loosening up, i'm still working on that (IMG: http://www.glowsticking.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) oh, and i'm hoping to learn isolations next... any good tutorials come to mind? thanks for the comments/critiques! glad to know the lighting and angle was okay, that's something i've had issues with...

you can do a lot of things with the moves that you can already do. it's a matter of connecting all of them and you can make the video more appealing =] you should try learning this way:
learn a move master the move combine the move with a weave, arm wrap, vice versa and puzzle around and play with it
