hey guys i apologize if this thread has been done b4 but i thought it might be interesting too discuss the injuries we've suffered for our art. For me its a toss up from black eye a busted lip or the mistake of practicing wraps wearing a tank top (im still speckled lol)

yea its here sumwhere i just 4got where lol
id say using the crap ass glowsticks from walmart lol
i went 2 a small rave called logik and i was an arm wrap whore back then
it was hella cold so i was all numb and the next day i looked at my arm and they had all these little scabs over them..sucked lol
either that or a hearty whack in the nuts 4 me

Ok, two things. When I first started glowstringing and doing arm wraps, the ends of the sticks were not smooth. Consequently, my arms had so many marks on them that it looked like I had been doing meth. That was bad. My worst injury however, was trying to learn the reverse 3 beat and hitting myself FULL FORCE in my right eye. When it hit, there was a bright flash in that eye and I hit the floor screaming in pain. It hurt so bad. Luckily, it did not do damage to my eyesight, but it looked like I had a really bad case of pinkeye. Moral of the story? Learn moves going SLOWLY! Any time I used to hit myself directly in the eyeball. I'd get temporarily blinded and have shooting pains for at least a half hour.

I leave almost every rave with 5 or 6 large bruises all over my arms from wraps. Which is the small kind or injuries.
My worst injury is going to be lasting for a very long time. I have tendinitis from the constant tearing and moving. It kinda sucks

As far as short term injuries, probably all the cuts on my fingers. As far as long term, the fact that it's not helping my already terrible wrists probably isn't good.

I cant remember which one sucked more, but i tweaked my left shoulder, and bruised the hell out of my hands (good god hand bruises suck) in the same night from too many overzealous shotguns. I mean, I've almost given myself a black eye, and have nutted myself many many times, but not only did the shotgun injuries hurt like shit, they lasted for a couple days. super weak.

I knocked an earring out when I had gotten it first pierced which sucked but no major damage. Lots of bruises on my arms from wraps. But the worst ones have to be when I hit my finger tips when they are cold (or normal temp). I have to stop for a while before I can do anything else...

worst self inflicted injury: i had slit my foot open on a peice of metal an forgot about it during a session and did a foot wrap and reopened it and bled everywhere
worst injury to another: lost my grip and my stick and string flew across the room and blinded my friend for about an hour
