After driving around town trying to find a good meet up spot to practice, my friend and i stopped at a Local Community center looking for some windows that can act as mirrors. While we were there we discovered that a group of B-boys were there practicing in the dance studio. i assume that they were using the facilities for free.
So I was thinking if a group of glowstickers can go and also rent out the studio on a weekly basis to practice. I haven't talked to anyone about it yet or gotten even a yes about it being able to be used to the public at all. Im gonna go there tomorrow on asking about this whole idea. But i was curious what the GS.C community thinks about the whole idea.
It's a dance studio, meaning it's a studio for dance. Glowsticking is a dance, and there have been many times that we held meetups in studios (see East Coast Glowshops or Las Vegas Meetups [Pre2008]), so I don't see how it would be a problem.
However, it's not going to be free. You'll probably have to pay a fee to rent and reserve the facilities. At least that's how the community center is over here in Las Vegas.
