so my friend Kara came up to wisconsin from tennessee to visit. she had lived up here for her whole life and had to move cause of her dads work. She's the one i owe it all to: raving, PLUR, and indirectly, my love for glowsticking. we threw her a garage/techno party, whatever you wanna call it and i promised her i'd glowstick for her once the crowd got a little smaller. so this was for about 8ish people. i explained the whole concept and covered everything.

i would ask you to give me your thoughts, but i already can hear them:

"tracing needs a lot of work"
"do more tracing"
"threading could use work"
"do more threading"
"throws are getting reptative"

at least, i'm guessing that's what you'll say (IMG:http://www.glowsticking.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) but please give me ANY constructive critisism and whatnot. I haven't had any sticks until recently so i haven't been practicing and such but... yea, lemmie know what you think.

it was a blast to make, and that's all that matters, right!? (IMG:http://www.glowsticking.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/happy.gif)

I like your thread tosses btb. get more light on the body so we can see it move. Looks like you are moving to the music, which is good. try to move into your tosses and turn the outcome into a thread, it looks like that would look good on your frame. Keep the footage/practice coming (IMG:http://www.glowsticking.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Nice work!

Yea you did get repetetive but no worries, i would take some time to learn helicopters work on more body traces and loosen up your arms more they look really tense. That will help a lot with transitioning between moves. Like Neon said its good that you are feeling the music and moving with it but dont let it completely control your freehanding that leads to repetition (IMG:http://www.glowsticking.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) I like your toss combos they are nice (IMG:http://www.glowsticking.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) may i suggest adding a hand stall or two in there?

Keep the vids coming you're doing great!

thanks guys! i was just trying out some of those throw to thread transitions and they seem to work pretty nicely. just gotta play around with it some more.

and i usually do use handstalls a fair bit, but i think i got caught up in the music and keeping it up beat to actually feel a stall and use one. i did another song right after this one that i used a ton (IMG:http://www.glowsticking.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) but i see what you're saying.

thanks for replying guys, i appreciate it!

As previously said, your stalls and thread tosses are really sexy.

I think you could work on setting those up, such as a half around the head trace, thread into that, then toss, something like that (I know it's a bad example)

I see you're thinking about your next move too, since there are a lot of half figure 8's and the like, turn some of those into traces!

You have a great feel for the music though, I wanna see more down the line!

Good toss ideas...try to control them abit more...its hard sometimes not to fire them out soo far, but try to tighten them up abit.

Also you wave the sticks back and forth alot across your mid section and chest. Try using some type of trace or figure at combo to level that up abit.

Good progress though man...keep it up.
