Florida is huge...and I see a lot of people glowsticking at events. But I talk to a few of these people and they're non-posting members. I think we should try inviting more people to interact. I'm lacking a car (only for a short while) and still not old enough to go to a lot of the events (21+). I want to promote some more and I'd like anyone else to as well. It would be greatly appreciated.
And PLEASE, if you're one of those lurkers, I strongly encourage you to participate. Give back what we've brought to you. If you're shy, send me a PM. If you're afraid of not being accept, send me a PM or contact me in AIM. I'm very willing to talk to anyone who is a part of this community. Yeah, it sucks. But it's up to us to bring it together. Next time you see anyone sticking at an event, go up and ask them if they are on the site, if not, invite them. Chances are most people who are into glowsticking, have stumbled across this site.
Spread the word, the more people we get involved, the more those people get THEIR friends involved, until we have a nice community.
