I've been noticing that alot of people freehand using 2 glowsticks that are the same color instead of different colors. I personally think mixing colors looks good. Why do so many people use the same colors? What colors do you use? I like using green and blue together personally.

Because having the same colors allows for mindgames. Personally I use green to freehand.

Not everyone uses the same colors....I like mixing it up between different colors and same. plus like decipher said "Because having the same colors allows for mindgames"!

I personally like blue, green, yellow, aqua, and white...and any of those in high intensity....

"Mind games" can be done with different colors as well.

I personally like green and blue together as well. However, I do use the same colors too.

Having two of the same color looks more uniform, and also the brightness is around the same. For example: Green & Red, the red will dim out a lot faster than the green.

Also like everyone else said, it allows for mindgames, but that doesn't seem to be that important since I don't see mindgames too often anyway.

Yeah, you guys are right. Two colors can kinda look like crap. you can't see the paterns as well. Me and my friend were freehanding with red and green, and the green is too distracting

If I'm doing a lot of tracing I really like using two of the same color. I love being able to 'merge' the lights into one and pull it back out someplace. Mostly when I trace as if it's going behind my leg/back/somewhere they can't see.

But if I'm just dancing around I really like using white and green, red and purple, blue and yellow, as well as orange and aqua. (All in high intensity if possible =) )

Most of the time i used green, but im noticing Yellow's look better on camera.
Not a fan of blues or reds, but the aquas and whites do look good.

Im trying to scrounge money for some high intensities. I've yet
to experience their power, so I'm planning to order a few soon (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

even tho i never used them... aqua 5 minutes from extremeglow.com =].

--------------------

When I describe a move as "aerial" I am talking about what we used to call the move set of poi in glowstringing.

Why? Because the word poi is what's used for the art of poi, and is mixed up every freaking day when people are referring to either the move set called poi in glowstringing or are referring to the art itself.

If you're glowstringing I call it aerial, if not then I don't care what they're called.

it depends one where i am sticking, if im aT a rave i tend to allways go with green because other colors dont show up as well, if im in a darker more personal area, say a friends garage, i will go with green, blue or sometimes pink(though i think i am losing my affinity for that particular color)

Ha ha thanks Danny, but I'm good... I just ordered 60 off of extremeglow.com a couple days ago. =]

Even though I absolutely love the aqua 5 minutes... I have to say, classic 12 hour greens are pretty sexy. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

Purple and Blue here.

I love the way green looks.
I just don't dance with it though.

i see A LOT of people use green to freehand/string in WA.
most likely because it's bright and the easiest to get.

personally: i like seeing different colors such as blue & green, purple/pink & green or yellow & blue.

i also see people who attach LED's to their sticks and that allows for more color options. i've tried it myself and it's very impressive (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

Any color works with me, but my personal faves are white and orange (hi-intensities and ultras if possible (IMG:style_emoticons/default/happy.gif) )
