Well the youtube link is up and if they want it they an download it. I just don't like lowering the video quality unless it's for youtube.

If you cut it by half the majority wouldnt even be able to tell the difference. At the size its at now I bet most people wont even bother looking at it.

Can you put the youtube link in this thread so people know where to go.

This was totally awesome, guys: http://youtube.com/watch?v=4Umdmp1WqjQ

This was quality footage - the lighting and camera distance was perfect, and everyone's glowsticking was smooth and unique. I could recognize about half of you guys just from style alone, like Bueno, Andrew, Greens_2_Dust, and Jaimison (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin2.gif)

I thought for a moment that Andrew had color-changing sticks. Then I realized that everything else in the footage was also changing color with his sticks. That's an awesome editing trick...

WushuRaver, which style of wushu do you study? It seems that you use tiger stances a lot. You inspire me to incorporate martial arts into my freehand style - I think that I'll try that too!

Dang you California people - it's so warm there that people like Andrew are wearing shorts, even. So lucky. East Coast is freezing, yo - we're stuck indoors at dance studios (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sweat.gif)

i agree with the voice, i am very jealous as well. its not freezing here but it may as well be, still cold enough to be miserable (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

And yeah, could we please get a smaller version of the video? 100+ megs is pretty heavy for me to download, even on a cable connection. Thanks!

Thanks a lot for editing the video, I really liked it =D. And I think the file size is fine.

    --------------------

When I describe a move as "aerial" I am talking about what we used to call the move set of poi in glowstringing.

Why? Because the word poi is what's used for the art of poi, and is mixed up every freaking day when people are referring to either the move set called poi in glowstringing or are referring to the art itself.

If you're glowstringing I call it aerial, if not then I don't care what they're called.

Hey Joe! Sorry for responding so late, I didn't even see this until now. Most of my training was based in Long Fist when I was little. However, I moved around quite a bit during high school and I was exposed to different styles such as Shito-Ryu Karate, Capoeira and Tang Soo Do which I'm still studying.

hehehe Do it!!!! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) Before coming on to GS.C my glowsticking was pretty much random tai-chi movements with sticks in hand. And I think that even that has been said by someone else once before on the boards.
