Concept = the idea, or fundamental philosophy behind a particular technique. example; tracing

Move = a specific motion or application of a concept. example; the stomach trace

Combo = a sequence of moves.

Toss = any move that involves letting go of the glowstick.

Juggling = a combo made primarily of tosses.

Heli toss = a toss that causes the glowstick to spin while in air. can be done either vertically or horizontally (flat).

Tracing = the concept of creating outlines of various parts of the body by dragging the glowstick along the said part of the body.

Shadow Tracing = the concept of moving your body behind or around a stationary glowstick. essentially, the inverse of tracing.

Figure 8 = a move that creates trails that resemble the shape of an "8". the Inverted Figure 8 is essentially the same thing, but with the glowsticks pointed at you instead of outward.

Helicopter / Heli 8 = a variant of the Figure 8 in which the glowsticks travel in the shape of a flat circle, either vertically or horizontally.

Brush Strokes = the concept of creating shapes or objects, or the idea of a shape or object, with the trails of the glowstick, away from the body. example; the Figure 8/Helicopter.

Stall = the concept of balancing a tossed glowstick on a part of the body with out catching it. examples; hand stall, foot stall

Threading = the concept of making a "hole" with a part of your body, usually arms, then passing through it with your arm and the glowstick.

Tutting = stop and start motions, one hand after the other. often box oriented. egyptian king tut like movements

Taps/kicks = act of tapping a tossed stick with foot, elbow, knee, shoulder, etc

Mind games = optical illusions. moves that appear to involve something impossible or improbable, such as a disappearing glowstick.

feel free to add anything i forgot, or to just clean up the order.

edit version 1.2 :added threading, tuts, and taps and mindgames...

threading: branch off of tracing. basically threading your arms. moving sticks through holes created by opposite arm and stationary stick. common example: stick touching shoulder in one arm (like a bicep curl) and moving other stick through hole w/ opposite arm.
(anyone got a better descript?)

tutting: stop and start motions, one hand after the other. often box oriented. egyptian king tut like movements

taps/kicks: act of tapping a tossed stick with foot, elbow, knee, shoulder, etc

mind games: creating an illusion with the glowsticks. making light appear/dissappear in weird places tricking someones mind.

all i can think of for now

edit: mind games added

no specific routines, but you could watch videos in the media center to get ideas what you like.

well the thing is a routine is not set by any standard. A routine is a combination of moves that are done sequentially. You could always make your own routine and practice that till you get it.
