i just got a set of the Green GL ultras from extremeglow (came in on wed). my first reaction was that they had changed on they made their sticks (the bottom was a full seal, much like Cyalume orange ultras), which kinda made me think i got a wrong product. i cracked a set tonight and my initial reaction was a big red flag. it took a few minutes before i realized fully what the problem was:

1. they weren't near bright enough. the greens are probably the second brightest (not including aqua, and only behind orange) and it was maybe about double a regular 12 hour one.
2. it last about 20-30 minutes at a decent 8 hour light.
3. it was kinda yellow-green. compared to the 12 hour i had cracked about an hour before, at initial crack, the GL wasn't the same kind of green (which may just be the brand, but it was obvious it was more yellow-ish).

has anyone had any similar results with recent GL Greens? i'm sending a message to GL tonight as well to see if it's been a common thing or not.

mmk. that makes me feel a little better. i was in a garage with friends all night and my eyes were tweaking out as is from the strobe and rope lights and such (IMG:http://www.glowsticking.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) good night (IMG:http://www.glowsticking.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/happy.gif)

anyhow, i sent an email asking about it, so we'll see.

I think they 2nd brightest color behind the orange is yellow and not green. That use to be the old case in the past before yellow was offered.

The GL greens i ordered about a month ago are the same as they've always been for me.

When I describe a move as "aerial" I am talking about what we used to call the move set of poi in glowstringing.

Why? Because the word poi is what's used for the art of poi, and is mixed up every freaking day when people are referring to either the move set called poi in glowstringing or are referring to the art itself.

If you're glowstringing I call it aerial, if not then I don't care what they're called.

the reply i got back said that they just sarted issuing out the new shipment (they recieved it 6/10) but he said i was probably "one of the first customers to recieve the new batch. so i dunno. i'm waiting to hear back from them right now.

Probably doesn't make a difference because I got them late May, but mine were fine.
