(IMG:style_emoticons/default/arrow.gif) Music will be provided: Boombox and portable iPod player.
(IMG:style_emoticons/default/arrow.gif) Some food, such as chips and soda.

What You Should Bring:

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/arrow.gif) Strings if you're a glowstringer.
(IMG:style_emoticons/default/arrow.gif) CD's or iPod's if you wish to bring music to play.
(IMG:style_emoticons/default/arrow.gif) Money to take BART and to buy food.
(IMG:style_emoticons/default/arrow.gif) Cell phones...don't rely on others for phones.
(IMG:style_emoticons/default/arrow.gif) Video/digital camcorders/cameras.
(IMG:style_emoticons/default/arrow.gif) Warm clothing: Sweaters, beanies, pants, etc.

Directions:

BART Ride:

It is very easy to get to the meetup. All you need is access to a BART station and simply ride BART to the Powell BART station from any station. (Avoid the Fremont-Richmond (Orange) train, it's the only train that doesn't go straight to the Powell BART station). Maximum cost for a round trip should be no more than 10 dollars which is fairly cheap. (Look below for a BART map). From the Powell BART station, you need to walk up Market Street until you hit 4th Street and make a right. Then as you go down 4th Street, you will see the Metreon.

DON'T FORGET: BART closes at a certain time. Make sure you set back home before the last train back departs.




Car Ride:

If you would rather drive to the meetup instead of taking BART, check out Google maps for directions Here.
Here is how you get driving directions:
1) Look under the search bar and click "Get Directions".
2) In the left bar, type in where you are driving from.
3) In the right bar, type in your destination. The address of the Metreon is: 101 4th ST San Francisco, CA 94103.
4) Hit the search button.
5) On the left, you should see your directions on how to reach your destination, and on the right a map. Either print this, or write it down.

DON'T FORGET: Also get directions starting from the meetup, back to where you came from.

Closer Look on The Metreon:

Description:

The names of the streets surrounding the Metreon are: Mission street, 4th street, Howard street, and 3rd street.

We will be having the beginning of the meetup right next to the fountain. During any time of the meetup, we might move to different areas of the Metreon because of music/better location. Also, the group may be gone somewhere to get food.

Whenever you decide to leave, just walk back the way you came to the Powell BART station and be on your way. However, don't forget that BART closes at a certain time, so make sure you leave before the last train to your area departs. If you are driving, then you can leave whenever you wish.

For filming, we will be walking around to film everyone glowsticking, or we will set the camera on a tripod. If you wish to be filmed, go ahead and ask. If you want the footage after the meetup, I can send it to you later through AIM (melvenorc12).

Ok, I will immediately switch to the going list if the meetup is changed to the 10th. This also works much better for me because I too would like to attend Mission: Delirium. Damn my weekends are filling up fast with gs.c stuff to do, it kicks ass. No more sitting @ home getting retarded. By the way, I am most definately BARTing there. SJ folks, you know what that means, CARPOOL!
