I actually didn't mind the video...

The only thing I have to mention is that I didn't know if you were doing string manips, or if you just thought of creative ways to get your strings out of tangles.

That was an alright video but there are many things that can be improved on.

1. The video was too long and very repetative.
- I did not really see a whole lot of different moves and everything seemed to be a pattern. You would do a move, then this move, then that move. One thing you need to practice is....
a. Learn a few more moves.
b. Mix up the moves you do.
c. Learn different variations of the moves you already know.

2. I may be wrong but to me it seemed like you would always get your strings tangled and you would move your hands in all directions in an attempt to untangle them.
- To me it looked pretty sloppy

3. You need to work on your plain control.
- Plain control can turn glowstringing from look good to very sloppy. Also with better plain control you will be able to expand your moves to a higher level.

4. Practice and perfect the moves you already know.
- Glowstringing should not be about how many moves you know and how fast you can learn them. This is an art and an art takes time to learn. So you know take more time to perfect the moves you already know. One thing to keep in mind, even if a person can to a high level move the move looks horrible if it is done poorly.

Keep up the good work man. It shows that you have a good grasp of the basic, but you need to practice perfecting your moves.

Good work

quoted for emhasise if you where doing string manips then those where fucking bitchen and i wanna learn them if not then like what tain said slow down, the video was repeditive most videos are only around five minutes even for people who are as ledgend wait for dary other fast stringers do even shorter ones because of how fast they are and it was around the 4 min mark that your plane control began to get sloppy, before that in the first 2 clips you had good plane control but i do like your incorperation of freehand in your videos! it also looked like you figured out a sort of pseudo bow-tie lock out / pseudo bushido NICE work but id say thats what needs to most cleaning up

it looks like you stitched together a bunch of unedited clips of you stringing, if the video was editied down a bit more i thikn it would have been more enjoyable and yes we all do it ( or at least thats the impression i have of seeing videos) is that we edit out the tangles / repedetive parts of our sessions that we send it

i have to say that first clip i was thinking to myself it looks cold in his room a hoodie with the hood tied and one glove. lol i would say if you slowed it down some and learned some string manips you could have a pretty cool style

thanks for all of your input guys. i do admit i need more control. and if they are called string manips, then yes i have a large number that i have been working on. all of what you saw i can recreate. haha and i'll say that i was trying to escape tangles a few times. im working on detangling my strings using methods of my own- some work others look bad. when i had my dull glowsticks i intended to capture how to escape tangles so i can study them further. when the music changes (when i have the orange and blue glowsticks again) they were manips i guess. im practicing hiding, stopping, stalls and im working on this lasso thing... if you have questions of a specific part of the movie i can try to help u out. haha idk much about terminology, sorry. i will make more clear videos this weekend (IMG:http://www.glowsticking.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

thanks again for your input
