cryingtigerOkay, so I was practicing my ass off last night, and I finally got my backstall down! the only problem is getting the stick off my back. I saw the the tutorial video, and it looks like he stood up, spun around and caught it.
This is my problem, I cant seem to stand up so the stick is perfectly where my hand is. The stick falls unpredictably, usually too low for me to catch. Can anyone help me out?

Hmmmm.... The only suggestion I can think of without showing you is to stand up slowly at first to feel the way the glowstick rolls off you back, practice it a few times so i can get used to the way that it falls, then speed it up but try to let it still fall as straight down as you can without popping it off you back.... unless you want to pop it off ^___^. Practice makes perfect as in everything with glowsticking.

I too have that same problem, but then again I try to be creative and make different transititions. Like turning it into a mind game by letting it slide off into my hand.

what i go is swing back up into standing position and turn to catch, but not too quickly. too quick = stick flying off somewhere else!
rolling it down the arm is annoying. i've only done it once, and that was very luck.

at first try to 'flick' it off your back by moving your back up and out quickly
there is a good chance its going to send the stick flying but with practice you'll learn how much force and what angle to move at

I learned by standing straight up quickly and catching it as it rolled down my back. You're not going to land it on your back in the same spot every time, so it's good to figure out how to adjust and be able to judge where it's gonna roll down based on where you land it on your back.
