Oh shiat it's another Utah video!

Slacker extraordinaire Kael pulls together a year's worth of footage of the crazy gs.c Utahns and friends/lurkers.

First off - I love you guys. Seriously. <3
Second off - Stuffs Kael forgot:
Sorry nateleven and eternal sorrow, we didn't get ANY straight up footage of you guys at the meet (glaringly HUEG oversight on our part) next months let's do this again and rectify that. We also failed at getting party footage of Adam and Brandon, but I did with what I had.
Muchas gracias to Dier's girlie and Adam's roommates/friends - here's to my friend Dave/Katalyst and his girlfriend who I don't know where he is now - and to Old Man NYC who's too busy enjoying the married life to read this.
I owe MadRaverRai a drink for supplying the excellent Jonas Steur mix. You rock man.
I'm going to buy Cleric that jewish t-shirt for hosting. (I haven't forgotten)
Dave for keeping gs.c straight up kickin'

    Third - Kael's statement:
Holy hell, it's been almost six years now. Six years.
I first talked with Abbie after I watched him "bite" Brandon's signature cartwheel while stringing at Luv2k. Not that we particularly care about biting, because we're always stealing each other's shit around here. Abbie told me he first got into stringing after seeing me string a few years ago at my first rave in Utah and was inspired to take glowsticking up. He now lives in CA and comes out to Utah periodically - he spins decks and glowsticks on the side.
That was inspiring to me to hear that, that years down the road we're all still doing what we love and inspiring the younger generation to do the same.
I look up to Adrillf, Dier, and Brandon - guys who over the years have progressed so much and impress me every time we hang out - not just because of glowstringing but because of how cool it is to hang out with them - how absolutely non-assholeish they are in representing gs.c.
Brandon doesn't even really post on gs.c, but he certainly lives by it's ideals. No battling, no competition, no bullshit, just brothers having fun with brothers and sisters while learning and teaching and having fun - the way it should be.
Dier wins my "most helpful gs.cer award" for hooking us up with tickets and paying for Brandon's parking and I appreciate him for putting up with Adam and I all these years.
And Adam, bro you're flaky as hell but we can always count on you to pull something together last minute. Grats. Your stringing is absolutely disgusting and we will finalize our airwrapness and "GLOWSTICKING THE MUSICAL" sometime.
A few names I must drag out as usual -
Sherman first introduced me to fire poi and allowed Becky and I to emergency crash at his place that first night, many thanks.
Myron and Wes, for putting up with this lame noob hoser the same way he now stuck it out with Adam and other lame noobs ;]
All the Chicago kids - wanted to get together one last time but it'll have to wait...
Norcal - I'll be seeing you this summer.
And to all the random glowstickers, hippies, ravers, dancers, and other peeps I've met on my journeys... glowsticking.com - ONE LOVE! Spreading the love of the glow to all ages, all sexes, all races, all religions, and all peoples regardless of skill level

OH GOD SO MUCH TRAVELING OH GOD

"The very act of congregating is an exceptionally powerful stimulant. Once the individuals are gathered together, a sort of electricity is generated from their closeness and quickly launches them to an extraordinary height of exaltation. Every emotion expressed resonates without interference in consciousnesses that are wide open to external impressions, each one echoing the others. The initial impulse is thereby amplified and echoed, like an avalanche that grows as it goes along."

I just wanted to throw in my part of this experience.

    Just like Kael,
Its a huge honor to be able to hang with you guys, its great to beable to attend a rave and not feel like a raver, to be able to hang with some friends and appreciate what we can all do for each other.

Adam, your such a funny guy its so chill to be able and talk and laugh and teach other some stuff about stringing, I really liked those handle ideas we tossed back and forth. (No pun on toss) It was awesome of you to plan that whole miniature meet up and to make sure things went through and they did very well too.
Brandon, What a guy, I've hung out with you the most out of everyone from doing shows or just hanging out and spinning, I've gained a lot from you, learned this atmosphere, and yes I know I was annoying at that first rave about four years ago, but hey I'm not that annoying now i hope.
Kael, Keep your shirt on, I know its hard for you but you really need to try haha. You've taught me so much about stringing when I first started and you first came to BYU and meeting up with you it was a huge jump for me to get that hands on learning when there was no one out here who could help me.
Nateleven and eternal sorrow it was chill seeing you guys, you're going to have to lighten up and enjoy it a little more next time haha. You guys just did not have enough confidence in your selves lol you were to worried about what we thought. So next time you have to come to the actually party too.

To everyone on GS.C who i've talked to and shared ideas with alot of the NY people, and the west coasters haha.

So next meet up next month? and than Meltdown 08 April 19?

Not everyone that went to the meetup made it to the party. We tried to get as many people as we could with what we have and I'm really happy with how it turned out.

I know that I haven't been around Utah too much in the precent years, but it's fun being in yet another Utah compilation. Good job to Kael for putting this together and all of the time it took to edit this video.

Okay, now I know. Kaels name is Kael got Girls!
Utah looks like a pretty chill place. I wish it was like that here in San Diego. People look so relaxed. Everyone was awesome. Party looked happening to. I bet the pre meet was fun too. Always love the pre meets. Very nice editing.

I really liked the video =D. All you guys are hell of freakin' good, post more videos =P. Man kael... I haven't seen footage of you stringing in years, I think the 05 vid was the last one. Everything still looks great, and it was awesome to see some good old duowrapping. Dier and Adrillf, I don't get how you guys do those tosses so damn well, like every time its extremely clean. I watched this yesterday, so I already forgot a lot of it lol, I'll watch it again. That background when kael was doing fire was AWESOME though; best city background I've ever seen.
