Rotterdam Hardcore? Im interested in know what it is, and some popular artists.

Check out Scooter, one of my alltime favorite hardcore DJs, then Sattelite Bass is kinda softcore but it has the annoying voice everyone enjoysl.

Rotterdam Hardcore is better known as Gabber I think, I know that Hardcore and Gabber are used in conjunction, it's just called Rotterdam hardcore or Gabber outside of Holland.

Also, Terrorcore and Speedcore are related to Gabber/Rotterdam Hardcore, and they're all related to HHC, Kinda like an Older brother, (First gabber tracks where made in the early 1990's, around 1990-1992. Mescalium united's "We have arrived" came out back in 1990 and is considered the first well known Gabber track)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ucCTpHdNqY4 (Angerfist, Nu-style Hardcore, AKA: Rotterdam Hardcore.)

As for Hardstyle, Well. Eh, I think of it as the Retarded sibling of Gabber when it slept with Hard Trance.

Hardstyle = Gabber that's been slowed down to 150< and given plenty of Trance style.

Gabber/Rotterdam Hardcore artists to check out.

Neophyte
DJ Promo (early stuff, not the more recent Sensation stuff, though his Sensation Black 2005 set was amazing)
Three Steps Ahead (RIP.)
DJ Sharpnel (J-core, think of it as HHC and Gabber had a baby and it was adopted by Speedcore, good stuff IMO.)
Shook

Just wondering, do the majority of people here on GS.C (well, new people) consider Gabber to be Hardcore, or the U.K hardcore stuff to just be called Hardcore? I just feel wrong when I see Breeze and Styles described as Hardcore instead of HHC or U.K Hardcore.

Shame they're always filled with Drunken idiots.

Barring that, I'd love to Hit up Sensation Black and Qlimax one of these days, If it wasn't for the Drunken Dutch Guidos and Posurs.
