Let me introduce myself first so that you know who you're dealing with

My name is Max, I'm 21 years old and I am from Germany. I've been spinning Poi for a couple of years now and decided to shoot a documentary about poi spinning.

Since Poi and Glowstringing are things that are related somehow to each other I would have loved to do some interviews and shooting with people from the Glowstringing scene. I think your skills are amazing and it is a shame that "we" the Poi people know only so little about you guys. That's why I would have loved to get some glowstringers on that film as well.

Unfortunately I have not been able to find any glowstringers in Europe so far (thanks to gettingthere'88 once more for helping me!) that's why I decided to post this thread on your forum to see if there is ANY chance to find people doing that stuff "over here". It doesn't matter where exactly you are living in Europe I'd just like to get in touch with you first. Unfortunately I can't afford to travel to the USA for filming for this is a real low budget film

Or is there any chance that any of you guys will come to Europe within the next few months?

Would love to hear from you! Really appreciate your work and would like to make it a little more popular among the Poi scene and Europe in general!

I must confess that my thoughts weren't that clear about where to post. Thought about "hm I'm interested in Glo History, so why not post it in that forum".

Unfortunatly, I don't know many glowstickers from Europe, Many Poists, but not too many Glowstickers.

Might want to ask Ange, He used to live in France for a time and knows people in the Paris Poi scene, perhaps he can give a better answer to your question.

hey man i live in europe, the netherlands.
i started poi 4 months ago and got to see glowstringing pretty fast, then i bought some crystal poi at flowtoys. and i started to form my own style combining poi and glowstringing.
glowsticks are hard to come by here only one store in belgium with normals.
i wanted to ship ultra's here but i had to pay 200 dollar shipping costs on 250 dollar glowsticks.
this wanst worth it. next summer i'm going to woodstock, georgia. im definitly lokking for some kind of a meetup or glowstringers in that area. and ofcourse i'll buy a lot of glowsticks.

well guys that's my story, if there are any glowstringers in the netherlands let me know.
