This album was okay, although it didn't live up to my initial expectations. There are a few good tracks however...my favorite track has to be "On A Good Day".

I honestly think OceanLab is starting to get a bit overrated now. I've just heard so much vocal trance by now, so in retrospect this album is fairly disappointing. It just seems like a commercialized effort on Above & Beyond's part. The strongest point of the album has to be the vocals.

I'm just waiting for remixes at this point.

damn jeff your a hard critic, but its all about taste, i like the album, i cant say i will be waitin for the remixes, depends on the results cuz lately some vocal remixes are yucky!

As a diehard Oceanlab fan & vocal trance addict (you know me!) I'm actually going to have to agree with Jeff on this one. And I'm not even going to give quite as much credit to Justine Suissa, either; her writing disappointed me in many of the album-only tracks. My favorite track was by far "On a Good Day" because of the well-balanced mix of instrumental backing, lyrics, and excellent vocals that made each other Oceanlab hit. Many of the others were second-rate at best-- rehashed concepts in all respects, and nothing that jumped out at me in particular.

Still a good listen, though, and I snatched it up the very day it came out. I still love Justine Suissa's vocals, which are very distinct from many of the other vocalists today, who almost all blend together in my ears. I will flip over in joy if well-produced remixes of "On a Good Day" emerge.

Love oceanlab tho...before they got popular.

Oceanlab was always popular...Justine Suissa has always been a big vocal trance name, and then the other members are Above & Beyond.

I used to love Oceanlab, they have lost their touch from back in the days though.

justine suissa is a really good trance vocalist. shes been in it for a long time now.

dude every trance dj/producer has lost their touch since '06. like when i would hit the record store every friday there would be 10-12 records that were fresh off the press that were amazing every week. now ure lucky if u get 1 good track per month.

No way....trance has definitely picked up over the past couple years. Every week I hear 3 or 4 tracks that just blow my mind.

I loved this album, it just has a good feel to it.

I cant wait for some hard ass DUB mixes of some of these.

I just got it.
Tried sampling most of the other tracks on that album.. they all kinda sound a little too mellow.. which is fine and all.. kinda like ambient-trance..
but nothing really stood out as much as "on a good day"..
i'm diggin' that one ^^
