ive been practicing helicopter for a week now. i know how to do it and im learning it very slowly. u guys r prolly just gona say practice more but im just wondering any tips to help me out.
my right works perfectly fine but when i get to a certain point on my left wrist, it cracks and throws it off. it looks really weird cuz when my left wrist cracks, it ends up that the glowsticks are no longer parallel. it is too hard to compensate for this on the right. will my left hand get used to this or what? its been doing it ever since i learned it

here is a tip you might be able to use. you can do a helicopter with your wrists touching... you can use each wrist pressing against each other at times to stablize the whole thing, and you use your fingers to point the glowsticks in the right direction. that way it'll compensate for the wrist crack. this is what i do.
also before you start, you might want to stretch your wrist for a few minutes gently to find of warm it up.

it took me about 2-3 months to get a smooth helicopter. at first my wrist will start to hurt after couple minutes of practice. but gradually i was able to practice it longer and longer. and eventually have a pretty good helicopter.
the practice itself is also a wrist stretching exercise.

alot of activities will make your hand flexible, im left handed so i write with both hands to improve my mind. it helps. also play a musical instrument. that helps on multiple levels, or just do poliates with your wrists. on the helicopter problem. i broke down the process of the helicopter, into 16 steps. work your way like simon says to the end. it helps and if it looks mechanical then just practice on that. but you will naturally become more flowient> i think i just made up a word. yay.
