So I made this video to put on youtube. It's another anti-battling video, and as soon as it uploaded it got an automatic copyright claim against it. More than likely for the audio, I left large tracks of it un-edited. Oh well, I still want to share it with you guys so I uploaded it to my server where you can download it.

Basically I took the German speaking submarine crew in the movie U-571 and turned them into glowstickers by using my own subtitles. Enjoy!

I dont know bout you guys but drumNbass is some kickass stuff to glowstick to. And, what drumNbass artist produces a more unfathomable wall of sound than any other? Well, in my opinion, that artist is Pendulum. Lucky enough for us, their Tour of the America's leads them to Denver to perform at the Blue Bird theater on Thursday, 10/09/08 @ 8:00 pm.

I have not seen tickets for this show anywhere else other than from ticketmaster, which sux because of their outrageous convenience/processing charges. But, as of now, a ticket from ticketmaster is $20.00 before those extra charges. If anyone finds a cheaper location to purchase tickets, please let the rest of us know (maybe TTG will be selling them???).

I hope to be going to this show and i hope to see some of you there!

I'm Morgan and.. haha I found out about glowsticking just last week. What can I say? I couldn't help myself! I think glowsticking/stringing is really cool =) I'm supposed to be doing homework but I decided I should join before I could change my mind.

I'd like to learn and I will try my hardest but my school is very strict and I spend about 13 hours away from home each day.. so timing is an issue. Hopefully, I find the time I've showed a few of my friends glowsticking and one has agreed to learn with me (he should be joining shortly) so I'll have someone to learn the moves for me and show me when I don't have the time to research and learn it myself. Now... it's nice to meet you all and I must do my homework now XD *waves* ... I'd much rather burn all homework and erase it from existence =.= *pout*

Well, like the title says, Music Matters 2 is ebing held in Cleveland tomorrow and I'm goin downtown with a small crew to enjoy the tunes and dance all night. Its 9pm-4am with an after party to follow. Not sure if you guys are familiar with DJ Lea Luna, but I happen to enjoy her mixing and she's comin out for a great time. Not to mention my dudes at B.A.D. Ass Are mixing all night too (Broke Ass DJ Association). I know its short notice for most you guys, but hell if you're only in PA maybe I'll get a message that a few might stop out. MIAMI (AP) -- Forecasters say Hurricane Ike has strengthened to a dangerous Category 4 storm in the Atlantic with maximum sustained winds near 140 mph.

Earlier Wednesday, Ike became a Category 3 storm and the third major hurricane of the Atlantic season.

Ike's center was located about 620 miles northwest of the Leeward Islands and was moving west-northwest at about 16 mph.

Forecasters at the National Hurricane Center in Miami say the storm is expected to continue on its current track Thursday before turning more to the west. It's too soon to tell which land areas could be threatened.

The storm is following behind Tropical Storm Hanna, which could threaten the southeastern coast of the U.S. by the weekend. Tropical Storm Josephine is following behind Ike.

I wanted recommendations on what kind of glowstick to use as a starter such as myself. Obviously longer stringed and ones that don't require a button to be pressed in order to start the light show.

Hey everyone, just kind of curious if anyone has any recommendations on artists to check out for a broad look at the different electronic genres. And by that, I basically mean a sampling of preffered artists in Techno, Trance, House etc. I've honestly only just found a couple of really small people who had made some cool sounding mixes, (Or stole them and posted them to myspace)

New to stringing

I'm new to stringing, have only played around with the crappy glowstick strings that come in the package, however I quickly ordered a set of flow lights, which I'm very excited for.

I was just wondering what kind of string/leash do you use with your lights? And do any of you use the flow lights, they seem to be pretty sweet.

The tutorials on this site and on youtube are great.

Very new the Glowstringing as the more I see it, makes me very interested in learning. But I'm lost. At times I see people basically using 2 separate strings for glowstringing...then other times it looks like it's 1 string with 2 connected....help?

I understand some hold both in 1 hand for some tricks. (or so I assume.) but since it's hard to pretty much see the strings, I can't really tell.

also...I know it's quite hard to explain but what's the name of the trick that has both glowsticks spinning in a circle rapidly? I see a lot of people do it and i'm rather confused on how they get it going.

Hi Everyone, I have been looking at the forums for a few days now, I like to learn stringing/poi and this is the place i stumbled upon. Great community and i hope i can make some new friends here...

I have started stringing about a week ago and im practicing basic weaves. I have seen videos on youtube of you guys doing it and i find it difficult to keep my forearms close to my body because i always hit myself on the legs that way. The way i do it is spin clockwise on the sides of my body just like normal spinning, no tricks, then when i try to weave i get the motion right, but i have to stick my hands out and lean back a bit in fear of getting whacked on the head or much worse in the jewels. Is there something i should pay attention to or will it naturally come with practice when i can swing closer to my body.

Also i wanted to ask you guys if you got blisters on your fingers when you started, i hold the strings between thumb and index, the inner side of my index finger is suffering from rope burn :/
