i ordered som streetlights a little while but they havvent gotten here yet. ):
i was wondering if anybody had used them for glowstringing before (ive heard they suck for it, but i would like to hear from the gods). they are thin 7 inch or so LED sticks. http://www.extremeglow.com/Merchant4/merch..._Code=LEDSTICKS

your input would be nice, but im gunna try it eitherway (IMG:http://www.glowsticking.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/harhar.gif)

they are pretty good for lights and what not, but they have been known to crack fast.
I highly suggest clear packing tape to protect em. Ive seen people buy lengths of
clear PVC tubing and put their led sticks in there to swing with. kinda like the flowtoys
leash....thingy.

www.flowtoys.com

I have got to play with em before and I love its patterns and its got a good brightness too. just
be careful when you play with em

thanks. the tubing will probably help.
i might just bust them and make my on LED sticks, but that would be mean and cheaper than photons

They're slow and good for poi, but not much else. They are definitely reliable for a beautiful circle but shatter easily.

Get casings here:

It won't stop your impacts from destroying the streetlights but it will extend the life by a lot. $4 each.

this shows the brightness of a streetlight but this is just a video, so
they will be brighter than what you see. it depends where you swing as well.

he also shows why he wrapped his streetlight sticks as well for protection

I bought a pair at walgreens, and was testing em out in the parking lot ( I can't help but open things and play with them the moment I walk out of a store). One shattered within the first 5 minutes.
