Heeeelllllooooo GSC.

AWOL and I cracked some sticks for the first time in a long time and had two really fun freehand sessions. We recorded 'em and mashed some the clips together for the oldschool project.

Here is my submission:

Hope you enjoy! biggrin2.gif

oops, i just noticed i put these in the discussion forum... if perhaps an admin or mod could move this to the freehanding videos section, that'd be swell!

Thanks dude! biggrin.gif

I've been trying to incorporate a lot of waving and popping elements into my sticking, i think it really helps with one's flow.

That flow is definitely sick, I love the way it works with your threading, blows me away haha. So definitely keep it up I love it (same with AWOL's vid) smile.gif

Thanks bud! I'm really glad you guys are enjoying our videos smile.gif

Dave (AWOL) and I both took a hiatus from glowsticking for awhile and had been focusing more on dancing without them. I think the effort we have put forth into our waves and arm/body isolations has had a really good effect on our flow with the glowsticks.

Might be something for some freehanders to ponder... put the sticks down for a bit (obviously not permanantly!) and try working on isolations and waves. That way, when you pick up the sticks, it adds a whole new element to your traces and threads! biggrin.gif

I think thats why people like paul (pretzel) always looked so sick... they had a good foundation of waves and isolations, so when they got funky with glowsticks, it just just flowed sooooooo well!

once i find it i'll post up the video of his that used to always inspire me so much... he's got such SICK body isolations!

soooo i just realized that the video i'm referring to is not on youtube or the mediacenter, but only on the DVD... So if you've got the DVD... next time you watch it, pay close attention to paul's segment. Its so rediculous.
