Here is AWOL's portion of what we recorded. We were a bit rusty, but it was a hell of a lot of fun recording these and it has inspired us to pick up the sticks more often.

Hope you enjoy! biggrin2.gif

Well, i'll go ahead and post my review for your video here bud.

I thought both sessions with you turned out great. and they were SO MUCH FUN! We definately need to do it more often (like back in the old days homie!)

Anyway, as far as the video goes, I was really impressed. You nailed a lot of difficult tosses, especially for not having freehanded in awhile. Most of them were on point and looked clean. There were a few times where it kinda felt like you were just tossing of the sake of tossing, but then again, i think that happens to me too. Try working them in with the beat and breakdowns more often. Its tricky, but if you can land a toss RIGHT on the beat or right on a drop, it looks hella dope.

Your traces looked fantastic bud. Real smooth and you can tell you've taken some of those waving and body isolation tips to heart. You werent static and moved with the music, which i always like to see.

I think the only things i can really think of at the moment that i'd say needs some work would be keeping that smooth flow when you slow down... i think the best way to do that is to keep working on those body and arm waves/isolations so you can put a little bit more wave behind the glowstick when you slow down... adds a helluva effect I think.

Other thing might be to drill those glowstick isolations... i think thats one of those things that if your gonna do, you gotta drill the fuck out of it, cuz they're so damn tricky. I'm sure Merlin practices like CRAZY with those things and thats how they look so smooth. ;p

Overall great job bud. I enjoy the clips, and enjoyed gettin' funky with ya. Next time you come over to mix records, we should break it down with the glowsticks as well. smile.gif
